DCC Meeting #4: Iris' Birthday!

Here's the new forum where we can discuss the DCC's next meeting for Iris' birthday in September.

Date: September 19th (Sunday)
When: 12 till whenever dinner ends (it begins at 6)
Events Planned: So far dinner out at a restaurant and a picnic

Lunch- Picnic at gardens if nice weather, food court at Meridian if not
Dinner- Tokyo Garden

Not-Rain: Bring picnic stuff and meet at the Japanese thingy in the gardens.
Rain: Leave picnic stuff at home and meet up in town somewhere. ^-^

Party Games:
- Anime Improv
- Pass the Parcel
- Duck Duck Goose
- The game where you have to guess what person you are... >> can't remember the actual name

Lol a birthday part for Iris without her. That would make me lol.
Tho her parents might have something planned for her on the day, we can always make it a different day so we can all be awesome.

A day of awesomeness, then dinner. It sounds great. I'm in. ^-^

OH OH That game where you have a pile of flour with a lolly of some sort on top. You hafta cut away teh sides of the pile until you're left with a small sliver, then whoever knocks the lolly off the top of the flour has to pick it up with their mouth. xDD
NO pushing peoples heads down, either. BIG no-no.
But I always found it good fun. Not allowed to use your hands at all when you pick it up. xDD Flour all over faces and stuff. <3

I'm not sure what some others are, I suck at party games... besides pace the parcel... but we can always do something like Anime Improv! ^^ that would be epic and seriously funny because we'd be other characters when we're cosplaying as some one else

God, this is so embarrassing I've missed this XD

Yays! I'm so glad everyone's enthusiastic, but really, I suggested it just a lame excuse for us to all get together with cosplay :3

OMG games sound so fun! (canwehavefairybreadplz?) And a photoshoot would be great, especially a group photo. I can bring a tripod, but no camera.

I was originally going for a picnic, but that's rather weather-dependent. We can decide a little closer to the date.

I agree, fairy bread must be made and eaten! Who can make some? I should be able to....

even if it is a lame excuse to cosplay, we still need to celebrate our fellow members birthdays! Too bad a bunch of other peoples birthdays have passed but we always have next year!

Fairy bread is nice and easy, so I'm sure a few of us can make some (I think a few of us will have to make some -- it seems very popular!)

We could celebrate the un-birthday of everyone we've missed Razz

Is everyone free to come in the afternoon? My flat will probably want to terrorise me with an early wake-up and dragging me out of bed for breakfast XD

Fairy bread is easy.
White bread -> Margarine/Butter -> Sprinkle bucketloads of hundreds and thousands on. If you wana be particularly fancy, you can even cut the crusts off and cut them into triangles! 8D 8D Ahhhh the fun of fairy bread. <3333

Cake.... I'm always keen to make a cake and bring it round with me.... I'm not good at exciting things on cakes, but I could certainly have a go!!
LOL More than one cake would be epic.

There's a few of us, so I think more than one cake is necessary *nods* (plus more cake = good)

Oh, and did people have various food they couldn't eat? Just so no one brings something that we can't share :)
