Yeah, Broadmeadows/Johnsonville area is nicely sunny at the moment. I got a text from Jade a while ago saying it was wetter in town, but it's not raining (stopped) - let's hope Northern Suburbs weather moves townwards...

With that in mind, bring a windbreaker/raincoat in case, ya know?

The next big break time would be... school holidays, kind of in the middle of Uni trimester, or post Uni exams, or pre NCEA exams, or pre NCEA and post Uni exams. At least five weeks. But not limited to that time only, of course. (That's just when the most people would be free, presumably.)

...Five weeks for me at least, since all my subjects are internal and I'll finish everything mid-October. Good time. Razz

Next time Metservice shall be used moar to scope out a good weekend.

So I was just thinking. Next time if we're rained off or can't think of anything else to do, to save us from walking too far and/or if nothing good is on at the movies, we could just go inside Fergs and do some Indoor Rock Climbing? It's roughly the same price as hiring blades but for unlimited time and climbing stuff/abseiling is always fun. (Haven't done it in years!)

Probably lots of others won't have either, surprisingly. Or even backwards, quite a lot of people might have, surprisingly! Who knows 8Db But anyway, we should totally try this sometime - just as our main plan and not just a rain plan! Of course, knowing (or rather, not knowing) the weather, the 'gloomy' day we plan to do it will probably turn out to be SUPER SUNNY BLADING WEATHER OMFG.

It is fun. It's HEAPS of fun. Heck, even belaying is fun! (Or that could just be me.) There's a different kind of adrenaline rush with heights compared to speed. I love that 'fight or flight' feeling myself - if it's in a controlled environment, the fright just makes me feel freaking invincible.

if you were to take part in a Larp where the battle system is based on a card game type system what kinda system and what kinda cards would u like to use????

If Rockclimbing is a go, I will fetch my brother. He's learning to teach outdoor ed, and he needs to help people out for his course. He'll come along and help out for free and it all counts towards his course and we have someone who knows what they're doing along! Very Happy
