can you help the new inspector Javert?

Hello, My name is Todd, and am wanting to play Javert from Les miserables, primerily Philip Quasts version,
He has an navy blue overcoat, a grey waistcoat with tails, a white shirt with a high collar blue pants, a large bow tying his hair and a large bow tie.
If any one has any input on this, i'd greatly appreciate it, this is my long term project and want to make a really good job of it.

If you have any sewing patterns/ advice/ hints and tips/ or photos of him and his costume primarily or of any cosplayer playing him
I would be greatly appreciative.

There's plenty of videos from 10th anniversary edition on YouTube, not so sure on the original. I know he's Javert in both but I don't know if his costume would be the same.

I wouldn't help Javert... cos I think Valjean is the Man!!!

But, if you're doing a help thread, I suggest you post up a picture of the costume you want to do, so people can give you suggestions.

I can't sew to save me, but others do.
