Gaming/Movie Night Thing (now with bonus list of people interested)

Finally found a day for it.

I will hold this event on October 9 and October 10 (Saturday and Sunday, last weekend of the School Holidays). What I was proposing is perhaps:

Computer LAN and Xbox 360 system linkage in the larger room

Movies in the smaller room.

I do have a friend who may be offering prizes for those who participate in the gaming related contests, however I need to later confirm this.

People who are interested and/or want information, please let me know so I can add you to this list. Alternatively those who have my cellphone number can text me and let me know.

Location: Ashburton Sports Hall
Day (again): 9-10 October
Time: 5pm onwards, probably finish up about 2pm on the Sunday

Again, I picked the Sports hall as a location since New World, Subway and McDonalds are within walking distance.

I don't intend to charge for entry, probably a little bit chipped in for dinner and perhaps breakfast would be all I'm asking. I have the hall paid for anyways.

Guess getting down here would be the big issue.

Actually, it's time that will be the big issue for me, I will probably be trying frantically finish my cosplays before Geddon in october. >_>

Alright. Done and done.

I've decided on this:

Movies will be run in the smaller room until midnight. After that the smaller room will be used for sleeping. Since there's going to be other Ashburtonians there asides from who's in the list above, they'll probably head home.

Games are still a work in progress at the moment. If someone can help by listing some multiplayer games for the 360 and/or PC that would be great.

I'm writing this on behalf of Saiyajin Mui as he is currently in Aus. He has decided that he is cancelling the gaming/movie night as there was lack of interest. I doubt there was any inconvenience so...yea.

Another reason being the event too close to Auckgeddon. There isn't enough people showing up for me to justify paying extra for the hall.

Any other A3 member reading this, I guess it's meeting at the hall as per usual.
