The colouring and shading is awesome. Face is really well drawn. The pose - if you'd like advice? It's not so much the pose it's that the legs look slightly flat mostly because it looks like you're having a wee bit of trouble with your foreshortening.

It's great though - especially if you haven't drawn in ages! Keep at it!

@huntress; yeah, i figured it'd be something to do with the foreshortening. it is such a smarmy wrench but i guess practice is practice!

If you can get someone to take photos of you or someone else doing those type of poses it may help. Otherwise Life drawing is an amazing help with the smarmy wrench otherwise known as "foreshortening."

it's just a matter of practice. i do have a mannequin, so i guess i'll just do stuff with that. but not everything i draw will be perfect. <:

No one draws ANYTHING perfect. LOL. Mannequins are good but there is something different about having an actual model that really helps. The weight of limbs, the way the skin creases and muscle moves. Everyone needs practise - just thought that might help. I know it helped me =) Woohoo
