Baccano By Dozy. 26/06/10, 01:27 pm |
| I just brought and watched Baccano and really enjoyed it, I was wondering if any one had heard if there was going to be a second series or even OVA? |

| I have heard of that series, but don't know much. Something with a headless horsemen. Is it out on DVD would be my main question, I don't like to watch online. |

| Not out on DVD yet as it just finished screening in Japan like yesterday. It is available to watch online at current moment.
As for Baccano! There is no second season, but there was an OVA which was counted as episodes 14-16 of the series so given that you mentioned you didn't watch series online I can assume you have the actual DVDs and have probably therefore watched them. There are translations for the light novels out there though. But I don't think they've actually covered much of anything past what the anime covers if that. |

| Light novels are into the 2nd digits, iirc. But there is a lot less LN tls as the effort involved is many times more than those of manga. |

| I have found a website with a translation of some of the lightnovels on it, the anime itself was 3 books I think broken down. And yesz I wached it on DVD so I know about the last episodes being a sort of epilogue. I had heard the series was not well recieved in Japan but has got a good following outside the country. Also I think their is a manga based on the light novels produced. |
