E3 2010, The good, the bad, and Kinect

As I'm sure all of you know, E3 is the biggest week of the gaming year, always filled with many excellent games and a wide variety of titles to allow us to mentally plan our gaming over the next year. If you have free bandwidth, go watch the keynotes here. If you don't Kotaku has done live text feeds for all the major events.

So what would you grade each of the big 3, what was your favourite moment?

I still loved this.

And this shocked me

Nintendo gets a A, for GAMES GAMES GAMES, and the glorious 3DS with solid 3rd party support.
Sony gets an A-, for amazing Move tech demos some huge suprises, and Kevin Butlers epic speech
Microsoft gets a D+, though Reach and Gears 3 look solid, over an hour of Kinect casual stuff was painful to watch
EA gets a B-, for NFS: Hot Pursuit, The Old Republic, Bulletstorm and Dead Space 2.
Ubisoft gets a C, Ghost Recon looks nice, Rayman was a great suprise, but as bad as some of the sections were, Joel McHale saved them by adding in hilarious dialogue.

What did you guys think?

Super-agree with your Nintendo rating.

MS had a wee bit of phail comparitively. Not that I'm surprised in the least.

Though, I will say... DEADSPACE2!#$&$%^@$$@@$@@!!!

I want to re-play KOTOR now! Oh man, stopping a lightsaber with your hands- thats some Force power!!!
And Assassins Creed: Brotherhood- that last bit where they scale the Colloseum- mama mia!

I loved AC2 and it's cool to see this getting a sequal, but it almost seems like there has been a bit of a graphical downgrade, environment fine, but character models, ehhhh?

And Dead Space 2 was EXCELLLLLLLLLENT, it's also interesting to see the Activision has sided with Microsoft and EA with Sony.

Woah... DS2 is freaky!
But it looks less like their in Space, and more like, um Bioshock/Haunted castle rolled into 1.

Nintendo blew everyone out of the water this year.
Especially with the confirmation of Ocarina of Time 3D
Not that that was actually in their conference xP

Not to mention STARFOX 3D!

Considering all the crazy!awesome graphics we have in video games these
days, I really love Lucas Arts little joke they did towards that in one
of their games E3 trailers (note: Watch it all the way to the end):

What else makes me
happy:

Heroes on the move
Monkey Island 2: Special Edition
Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep
(English version)
Epic Mickey
Portal 2

What doesn't make me
happy:

No word from Ubisoft for the Prince of Persia (08
version) sequel still.

What I'm in-different about:

New
Zelda (like the games, but I can live without playing them and I can't
spark interest in the new one just yet)

3D DS - Prove to me it's
not just another gimmick, Nintendo, because 3D movies have really yet to
either.

I have been feeling the urge to replay KotOR for a while now, TT, and this has just trebled it D< The Old Republic looks sososo good, and I might even consider playing it (though it is a hated MMO!).

I can't access anything much at the moment, does any one know if they released more information about the Deus Ex prequel?

I saw the Portal 2 stuff last night, HELL YES. Did any one see anything else on Half Life 2 Ep:3?

Dead Space 2 has me psyched! Also confirmed that the collectors edition for PS3 will include a full HD remake of Dead Space Extraction with new co-op play and full trophy support. My 2011 is looking like a great year for gaming.
