Calling all Vocaloid cosplayers!!

Lately I've been planning a few cosplay videos, & I had an idea today of making a cosplay music video with heaps of cosplayers singing along, & who better than Vocaloids?

What would happen is we choose a song (I'd want one everybody agrees on), everyone records themselves singing to it, send the video to me & I'll mash them all together into one super special awesome video! (It'll be lipsyncing btw, if that's okay? know some people won't actually want to sing)

If you have more than one Vocaloid cosplay (you know who you are Calling all Vocaloid cosplayers!! Icon_wink

) then feel free to record more than one video. All cosplayers will get credited of course~

I don't have a Vocaloid cosplay myself, but if enough people are keen I'll whip a quick one up to be in the video too. Oh & double ups don't matter! Very Happy

(If this goes well I'll do it again for other popular series cosplayed like FF etc)

3 responses in 2 minutes! Awesome! As for submit time, I want all NZ Vocaloid cosplayers in this, so it would be until the last person got their video in Very Happy

& any outfit goes, I've noticed Vocaloids are most recognised by their hair style anyway~

Oooh~ How about we make a video with the cosplayers and their actual singing if they can sing? And another one for the cosplayers who are not confident in their singing (lip synching instead)?

Yeah sure we can do that :) But I'd want everyone in the lip syncing one, & those that are confident enough to sing can have their own video. Oh & for that one we'd need to find the instrumental version of a song?

Im sure there are heaps of non-vocal versions of songs. If not, its pretty easy to rip the vocals out C:

I'm so tempted to make a vocaloid cosplay just for this XD;;

There are some karaoke vocaloid songs on youtube. just look for non-vocal versions. I came across a non-vocal version of "Just Be Friends' and 'SPICE' the other day~

Also have you guys listened to Smiling? It's by Halysoy... it isn't really a vocaloid video but its got a lot of the niconico singers who cover vocaloid songs singing it

Yeah I was wondering if you guys would want to use a Vocaloid song. Would you guys mind if it was in english? Personally I'd have more fun singing along to a song when I knew what I was saying ^^;

I was considering United States of Pop (it's so catchy!), but BeDemmy might be using that for the Palmy cosplayers video~
