PRE MMD COSPLAY MEET. READ ME!!! [Palmerston North]

Lunch, Cosplay roller skating/blading and Pictures!!

When: 14th August (THIS SATURDAY). Time yet to be finalised~ (PLEASE ADVISE?)
What: Meet- Lunch - Skate - Pictures - MMD!!!
Where: Meet somewhere easy to get to- close to where the skate place would be good(PLEASE ADVISE?)
How: BY ANY MEANS POSSIBLE
Why: Because we can!

Prices for skating are:
Session + Skate hire= $5
Session (own skates)=$4

The session is from 1pm til 3pm~
So we will have to meet sometime before then~

Cosplay is not compulsary but it is very much so encouraged 8D

PLEASE FINALISE IF YOU ARE COMING OR NOT, IN COSPLAY, WHO AS, ETC.

Also, Please advise me of a good place to meet thats in close proximity to the skate place, and fooood places~ and also what a good time to meet would be.

I'm keen to go to a bar, but sadly, I can only think of like 2 or so other cosplayers in Palmy that are 18 or over. I miss Wellington.

I like the idea of going to somewhere like a resaraunt that the youngins can get into, and optional for those of age to drink?

Or if the youngins want to drink, we could get a jug of margarita or something like that, and be super ultra sneaky?

I'll either be a gorffuk lolita, or simca from air gear (which means i'll probably have to bring my derby skates, which i will most likely loose or get stolen AND THEY ARE SO F-ING HEAVY D;<)

Since the Murder Dinner is a DINNER perhaps going out for food is kinda redundant? XD

I like the idea of a movie in the afternoon, but only if there is something on we can all agree on.

I assume the MMD (BEING A DINNER AND ALL) would be at night.
I thought it would be COMMON SENSE to have the meet in the afternoon, so everyone has time to go back home to get changed for the MMD/do whatever they need to do beforehand. So I don't see why we cant go out for lunch.
Unless you are all annorexic and don't eat lunch.

We shall vote in a poll on what we are going to do, once more people join and more suggestions are put forward.

If cinema is picked, then a poll on which movie to watch will take place
(assuming that its not going to be at a rediculous time that overlaps with the MMD)

If we go to the movies, we'd need to decide closer to the time so we know what's screening? If I cosplay I might wear Kisa or Paprika, should be very comfy :)

Yehp. I don't even know what movies are playing at the moment. I havn't been to the movies in yonks.

I won't be voting for movies though.
I find them rather mundane and unsocial.

I like sitting at a table while eating and talking, it's far more social. I hate takeaways as I fail at multitasking. Generally with take aways people usually walk while eating.....Walking, talking and eating is just not something I do best.
When I smoke, I also have to sit down.

I assume we will be doing more than grabbing lunch.
I mean, If we were going to the movies, I'd still go for lunch aswell.

If it's really that bad, then we could get lunch and take it to somewhere with tables and such. Also, you'd only want to go for lunch?
I just thought that it dosnt take long to have lunch, so it would be a very short meet xD

If we were to take our food somewhere there is always the Square; there are tables dotted around there we can eat at. If the weather is half decent of course.
