I don't think I'll be making a new costume for the challenge, rather adding bits to my Rukia one to make a Matsumoto Rangiku one. I'm up for gathering during the challenge time to cheer people on and generally socialise, if I can make it back down from Queenstown.

It was awesome seeing everyone! I'm so up for another meeting sometime soon. I'd be curious to get a list of what costumes everyone has, to see if there's any fandom crossovers (sadly, I only have Bleach *sob*)

^-^ If people don't have the money to make a costume/buy material and whatnot, I'm sure people who do have the stuff will be happy to have others help...? Well, speaking for myself, I'd like help. xDDD;; ( Gotta get all the material and stuff, first.. >.> )

For the 48 hour challenge... We'll need a place to camp at for the weekend. I've put my house forwards. It's waaarrrm, has about 2,038 wall sockets in the lounge(kidding. But probably more like at LEAST 10..) Unfortunately, peeps would all be sleeping on the floor. xD;

If anybody has a house with a bunch of beds and stuff they're willing to share for a weekend, speak now, or forever hold your piece. =P <33

I've lost whatever else I was going to write. >.> 1.30 in the morning, thoughts generally float by while I smile and wave. o.O

What date is this happening again? I never really caught the date... I hope to god it's after my birthday... (July 18th) but if not I will stuggle through! ^_^

and can't do it at my house, sorry! none of our furniniture will come till much later and it's not warm per-say

=P The 48 hour Cosplay Challenge is a challenge to make a costume within 48 hours. Posting a pic of all your materials and such and posting it on CNZ at 7pm Firday evening. Then you have 48 hours to make the costume, them post a finished pic of it on Sunday evening, 7pm.
For the 48 hours, I'd assume we'd just be camping at a house and eating and drinking fizzy and making costumes and listening to music and whatnot(unless we wana do the movie night instead, where we'd be watching movies xD).
I suppose you could be in costume while making a costume.. xDD That's up to you. ^-^
UNLESS you meant make part of a costume, then do a little on another costume, then do it that way. I'unno what the rules are. ;-----; There's a thread somewhere telling all about the rules and stuff. Dx

OMG I totally missunderstood you! ugh... i fail! I thought we were gunna spend 48 hours in copslay! wow... that's an epic fail.... but I don't have a sewing machine... this may not work... lol, plus my dad and brother would have arrived the week before and my dad is only spending 2 weeks cu he doesn't have his visa yet... so i may not be able to come after all... T^T gomen!

I'm not sure about fridays... I have a perfect attendance record at Adp (haha) but I've got a birthday party afterward. I could probably find my way someplace after that though. I'm sure the loss of a few hours won't be too bad ^^. Just gotta find money for stuff. i'd put forward my house but it's tiny. And I'm sure since it's just a casual challenge we won't be killed if we use the time to work on a little of a costume or change a pre-existing costume, will they? If I can't get money I might fix up some of my old ones.
Should we have another meeting beforehand? I've never actually been to the little hut cafe... Though a picnic sounds good it is winter now...

Anyway, how many people would be interested in going to Rikku's for the 48 hour thing? I'm off to buy material today (thank you, spotlight, for sending me vouchers) so I'm in.
I figure since it's thirteen days from now we should see who's interested and if there's enough people begin organising it.

I know! I ask if people are interested and bam! no activity for almost a week. But I think uni peeps have exams, and maybe the others are busy too? IDK. (Am I a thread killer?)
It would be fun to hang out! But the more would be the merrier, you know? Let's see if we can't convince some of these people not posting to come ehehehe... ^^
