What:
Cosplay Chess is live human chess, where people play as chess pieces. When a takeover occurs a pretend battle is fought between the two pieces. Cosplay Chess is just that more awesome, because the pieces can act in-character. The Chess match can be random, or themed: girls vs boys, good vs evil etc.

How it works:
This is small chess, so the game lasts around 15-30 minutes. The mat is a little different and there are less players needed. 20 pieces total, and 2 players, more people can participate as extras and summons (TBA)

1) On a giant chess mat (thanks to Mandie_Chan), all pieces (from pawns to kings) will sit on their equivalent starting squares.
2) Two ‘players’ will play a chess match, and will tell the piece (you), where to go, (i.e Naruto move two squares forward.)
3) When one piece takes over another, an ‘in-character’ battle scene occurs, with the loser being the piece that is taken, and ‘dies' in a dramatic way.
Note: Chess can be live, or scripted - meaning moves have already been planned out. Scripted can be more fun, as we can set up take-overs so particular characters can fight each other.
Depending on how many people are keen for this I may PM some pieces with important designated roles.
