When I was thinking of doing Shy I was going to do the head as a tube but with the end front on- it would be taller but shallow from front to back. In foam that would then allow for some carving to get the edges round and be soft like the rest of the heads.

You know, since Slip is a cardboard cutout, do you reckon I should still make his head cylindrical, but have straight ends?

Otherwise I can't really imagine how I can make the head rectangular... and I won't know if it'll stay. D:

Kay I'm adding myself in for now, but my work hours are going to increase in March-April (how much I dont know, as I'm already way above full), so I'm 50:50 on attending Geddon, let alone being able to make cosplays. But I'll do my best =3

me & jess were thinking of doing it so that the mittens were half sewn to the sleeve and the other half velcros on so that we can easily take them off for eating/pointing/etc-- we're having another workshop in dunners this week if you'd like a hand <:

Uhhhh, I have an idea for the mittens. Why not make a zip opening on the side of each mitt? This way you can open it when we need to use our hands, and close it when we don't.

I can tell you now that opening and closing zips whilst wearing mittens is quite difficult, as is trying to do up/undo a zip on your hand because you have nothing to brace the zip with as you pull.
