Some kind of community hall if we don't wanna get the minors in trouble? Otherwise I'd suggest 10Bar and I'm sure there'd be no issue playing some anime themes/Jrock/pop there... As long as someone wants to lend their iPod/other mp3 player for the night...

If 10bar sticks, i'll see if i can't get Kirby-chan (Ladykirby, the events co-ordinator XD) to give them a heads up this week -

I gotta get the mailing list for exec running and we can shoot of proposed ideas quickly on how to deal with the monetary issues, and how to word the details to Bill before tuesday.

Proposed fees are above, though i need to run in and add the other bit about CNZ being DACC friends.

Btw i'm broke i can't make it to vivace this week, kinda the whole i need to save money before NZAC or else i'll never be able to leave the house LMAO.

The whole thing could cost upwards of 400 not including snacks, ticket making and other things - Do we provide our own door staff or can they?

Well DACC's already planning one, we've got a comittee we've got the information sent to Bill - we just wanna know who's really interested in coming.

Riots arent good >_> as joking or not joking as it is, i have people who will make my life a living hell who have NOTHING to do with CNZ if my club doesn't organize this properly.

And i mean nothing to do with CNZ lol.

The mods here have been fairly good about letting me post this here especially because I'm pushing for a discount for CNZ members.

Yea it's going to cost money, but we're hiring a bar - we're playing music and we may even be able to show people's amv's if bill says it's ok.

I sent the email to him, and we're meeting on (without bill cause he's not here yet lol) wed night.

Riot would be hilarious, i think you're totally correct but i got a bunch of sourpuss' who think they're more mature than half the over 29's on this board (and they're NOT lol) who want nothing more than to see Dunedin Asian Culture Club fail at this Razz

Downside? Means you have to register at the site .___. it's kinda a anti-fraud thing virtuemart has installed.

Rikku, hey that's cool - you can reserve a couple of tickets no problem - i dont think you ahve to make an account anymore, i would test it if you are able to order them now - Or else i can just temporarily get details off you via PM ?

But yea, i dont think you have to set an account anymore on the DACC site, just setting address etc details.

And i can reserve some tomorrow (tuesday the 13th), i think i'm gonna get a couple posters printed tomorrow

If anyone wants a digital copy of the posters to print on their own and give to people let me know!

I don't think it showed that it was r18 on the armageddon website reiko ^^;; also, becuse i know you will, DON'T MAKE THE WHOLE PLAYLIST VISUAL KEI. people wanna dance to music they know lol. Also, i highly reccomend that you do door sales and normal ticket sales through cnz. people don't wanna beat around the bush by applying to one or more websites&stuff or you won't attract much people/ the people that also go to the convention and don't know that the afterparty is on.

EASY and SIMPLE is the way to go for people that wanna have fun xD
Tell you what, if you sell tickets direct through cnz, i'll help you out on the night. i just don't wanna bother with dilli dalli for tickets becuse,as you know, i lack effort in most things hahahah

Oh, and maybe set up a stall at animeconvention and sell tickets. i would help out there.
I'll also help with playlist material if you need and ticket collection in the first 2 hours *becuse
i wanna party like it's just before 2012*

I will be DEFINATLEY holding to the posters (of which only ONE is up) and being around for people to order them, but a remind is that i really REALLY have to go study for an essay LOL, and so yea :)

If ANYONE in dunedin is free this saturday for a gathering of minds on how to sort this out i can hit up someplace to sit and yap?

Tuesday 12-1 2-3/4 i'll be out at either the link or hunter centre, or Thursday i'll be around 1-4 somewhere of those two places. If you REALLY wanna order and i'm not around, but you know me , or other exec members no big deal just order trhough them Very Happy

WE ALSO on my command shall take mass orders from places up north who are coming down and want to sell tickets to friends etc - I'll just say that it's easiest if you just get names and money and send us the money into the bank account and we'll either send you the tickets or give you the bulk to pass out.

Door Tickets ARE ALWAYS available - So no worries there.

- NZAC Will have afterparty tickets AT the event but they'll be 10 bucks a shot... so either pre register now (We're selling them, *INK is selling them, Cyren's sellingthem - we'll get more options sorted ASAP.) You can also buy them through us on HERE, EMAIL OR FACEBOOK Very Happy

....if anyone is SERIOUSLY interested in selling them and they're not in dunedin but are coming down just reply, i'm sure we can work something out Very Happy

(Bulk Selling gets the $6 dollar rate unless it's after May 2nd)

If things go well we'll be in the foyer of the UNION selling tickets either this week or next - we said this for the LINK but it's too hard to sit for like four hours ><;;;

10:00 - Raffle (Raffles can be bought at the door for $2 a shot)

Creature, the best idea if you're unsure of crowds is not to be there for the latter part of the events, Parties like these are more crowded half-in than the beginning :)

That being said, there's perks to popping in and out for breathing space too :)

but yes, as Minato (cyren) said ... we've only had 2 so far, there's LOTS Of interest but not a whole lot of sales yet.

We're going in today locally (my group) to talk to the bar and get things finalized.
