Let us speak of Final Fantasy XIV

Now, let's get one thing straight. I don't like MMO's. RPG or any other kind. I tried WoW and many other free online MMORPG's and basically found they're the same cat dressed in a different suit. Let us not digress and start banging on about the love or hate that we may have for MMO's.

And after that let me segue into this.

I will be playing the crap out of FFXIV because I am a very shallow fanboy and that is how I do son. I already know what race I'm going to play and everything.

So, will you be playing?

Honest answer no, isn't really a fan of online role playing games and would of preferd for Square- Enix to make a originally styled Final Fantasy game than a online fantasy like World of Warcraft. So yeah, will be avoiding like Final Fantasy Eleven..

Plus is furious at SE because they are making a online game during a money recession where people are struggling to even keep their house, already think that SE has turned into a megalomaniac company and this just takes the cake..

Depends on how they're going to price it, and if I have either a PS3 or a half decent PC by then. Both are probably unlikely, unless they delay it 'til next year.

But by then The Old Republic will be out and I'll devote all my time to that, instead.

Eh, we'll see.

Will probably play if enough of my friends play it as well. MMO's are only fun if friends play as well. ~~that way I don't feel like such a nerd playing all day~~

Yeah, I managed to get away (mostly) from my FFXI addiction............ so I'm ready to move on to the next one. sweatdrop

Seriously though, as much as I lived FFXI the game had lots of annoying aspects that need to be fixed in XIV or I probably wont get into it as much. If my brother didn't play I wouldn't play much either, you really need friends playing to make it more special.

Either way I'll be trying it for sure obviously, whether or not I stick to it depends on how fun the game is I guess. Sadly a bigger aspect may be: the whole 'growing up' thing totally ruins my playtime. sad

I'll be getting this. As soon as it comes out. Because I have a computer to play it on. I lack a ps3 so now that this is coming out I'mma jump on the bandwagon of people who will play this.

If its not too expensive, and my computer can handle it - hellsyeah. I don't really mind playing MMOs by myself Cool

Straight answer, no. MMO's annoy me, paid MMO's annoy me more, and FF games that don't just stick to the formula people expect annoy me even more.
