EXACTLY. <: cosplay is just as much about the awesome costumes as it is about the comradeship and awesome people that go with it.

I agree with what both Greg and Lucy said.

@Kiki: As a person who hates double ups myself I can kind of understand where you are coming from, but that still doesn't give you the right to tell Meghan (_BlazingBlossom_)that she can't cosplay that character just because you are. She can cosplay whoever the hell she likes, who died and made you queen?! How would you feel if people went around telling you who you can and can't cosplay? If you were the OP, then the no double ups rule would be fair enough, but you are not. Nobody made you the boss of this group, so stop acting like it. If you don't like double ups, then either:

A: Change character

B: Suck it up

C: Leave the group.

I don't like double ups either but if they happen to me I normally deal with, either by changing character, dropping out or whatever. Seriously, just grow the physics up and deal with it like a mature person and stop being a douche. I mean, seriously, who the hell do you think you are?! angry

@Meghan: You cosplay whoever you want to okay and don't anyone tell you otherwise! nodnod

emma, greg's post was deleted because this isn't an issue to gang up on someone for-- it's an issue to be explained calmly and tactfully.

while i do agree kiki was in the wrong, i feel it is pointless to reiterate what's already been said (more politely) and to inflame the situation, especially with the use of swear-words. this is uncalled for whether or not they may be censored by our filter. it is also a form of bullying to gang up on someone, so if something has already been said, please let it lie.

All I said was that I hate double ups. It isn't fair to come along and call me a douche okay? That's totally rude and offends me greatly. If you're gonna act horrible towards me then why should I bother. I'm leaving the group now because I'm not taking this kind of sugar honey iced tea. It isn't the first time you've been saying stuff about me RMD. Maybe it is you who needs to grow up.

Why would I stay in a group if I'm going to be treated like this, it's unacceptable behaviour. Don't expect me to talk to you again RMD, not after the stuff you've been going around and saying to people, and don't play dumb I know what you've been saying.

And for the record all I said was '@Blazing blossom: Sorry, I'm cosplaying Kallen still... and I dislike double ups, especially for small events.'

I didn't say she couldn't still cosplay kallen, I was just saying I still was because her first post said 'do you still have a kallen or something' though I can't be bothered going back and checking.

Thanks for putting me off ever cosplaying this character guys, this is why I hate people these days. Bye.

Kiki, you need to understand that someone not liking or agreeing with something you said does not mean that they hate you, or even dislike you. They dislike what you said, NOT YOU! Very Happy

Also, if you cosplay popular characters, double ups will happen- it's part of being a cosplayer, like hot glue burns or spray paint on the carpet (I hope my landlady isn't reading this thread)

LAWL. Actually, I noticed Nunnally's hair looked like Kohane's and I was like,"... I should do a Nunnally cosplay ..." But not the the costumes appeal to me much. //time to crack out an original yukata or summin'

I would offer my house (I know mum would let me xD) but there's hardly enough space for just ME to sew D: //small house
