Gaming Lan - 4th - 5th of July

ok, this isn't really related to cosplay, but im sure some of you will be interested, so i'm putting up a post in this forum.

I'm holding a gaming lan on the 4th and 5th of July (overnight, from 6pm friday to 5pm Saturday)

If you don't know what a lan is, its a sort of a big gaming party where everyone brings their computer and plays multiplayer games and share various sorts of data (animez!) across the network. We are also going to have consoles avaliable, aiming for a ps2, Wii and xbox 360.

Last time we had about 15 or so people and hoping for more this time, great to see some faces from here as well :)

# When: 6pm Friday 4th to 5pm Saturday 5th of July 2008
# Where: St Michaels School Hall, drop off point /carpark on Durham St
# Cost: $10 with PC or $5 without

thats co cool, I'll be coming for sure.
and I've got about 250Gb of anime to share.
+I've got a $500 wireless 802.11n router so I'll bring that to help out.

Just keep your plans but just save it up for a different date, it's problery really good and I'm sure the Cosplay Group would like to join in, whatever your planning....so yeah just keep the plans but just move the date xd

yea its one of those dates thats the only day in weeks that works which sucks cus i <3 lan parties *comtemplates large halo 3 death matches*

Because of your job or Ice- Skating ?
It's going to be hard to fit in dates for plans that suit yourself and the rest of the people within the cosplay group, going to have to be honest with you there..

But there is plenty of months left to the end of the year and there is even the whole year of 2009 as well, so just keep the plan inside your head * points to head * and maybe you will gain your perfect chance to gain your very own Gaming- Lan Night xd

But just head over to Will's Gaming night you might have a great time there and somebody else might be keen for a Halo Tour-

I really need to get Halo 3, or at least get my copy of Gears of War resurfaced.
Also Will, provided my parents let me come I can bring both consoles, and probably a tv

Let me know if your parents want to ring somone associated with the event. I've been organizing these for about 5years now lol

Also both my flatmates have Gears of War Very Happy

EDIT; you can get disks resurfaced for like $6 at the united video or whatever, on ferry rd

WHY OH WHY DOES IT RUN INTO SAT?? *strangles Will* jks XP Could I like. . .maybe just sneak in for a while and steal some anime? >_> <_< (oh and play the boxing game on Wii a few times, god I love that game XD)

I know I can get them resurfaced there, its more just finding the time to go down, I always seem to be doing something

Sweet :)

Cos last time i only charged $5 and i ended up spending more then i got back, plus this time we want to save to buy a 24port network switch (which is about $150) which is the thingy which lets all the computers talk to each other, and people without a computer wont be using that :)

We play an entire variety of games, from the latest first person shooter, to the goldenage classics. there is a short list on the website, but we play more besides just those.
