Hey, I'm Gabby, or some of you might recognise me as Ciel Phantomhive from Aramgeddon Wellington.

So many people asked if me and my Lizzie and my butler were on these forums that we decided we should come have a look.

A QUICK ANNOUNCEMENT:
Before anyone else pounces on me about not wearing my eye patch properly on stage, I should make you all aware of the HEALTH HAZARDS of such a costume piece! You should al try wearing an eye patch for three days straight, and you will understand the perils of 1: being half blind, 2: having your depth perception severely messed with, and 3: beginning to feel nauseous and dizzy from it. It was my decided decision that it was no longer healthy for me to wear the eye patch properly for the entire second half of Sunday. In fact, my butler insisted that i not wear it the rest of the day. And it was especially important whilst on stage, where i was already flustered, as it would have been horrible should i have misjudged the steps, or worse, passed out on stage.

Anyway, motivated after our success for these costumes, Heather/Lizzie and i have commenced preparation for our next year's cosplay. Apparently everyone always says they're going to start the day after Armageddon (i wouldn't know, this has been my first convention and my first time cosplaying, and my first time even touching a sewing machine, which was why i was so surprised we won our division) but we actually have started. We used our winnings to buy a Chobits art book, and we're redesigning our own dresses with reference to the pictures. I'm going to be Freya and Heather will be Chii. It's going to be even bigger and better. I have drawn a first sketch of my Freya dress, and have more sketches to go for the alterations we're making.

Might also add, that we plan to properly finish our Phantomhive costumes (i didn't have real shirt sleeves under that jacket yet) and attend the cosplay ball.

Btw, i wish i could have gotten pictures of EVERYONE! The people i did get pictures of are gradually being added to conpix.net some of you might recognise the orange cards with the little old man on it.

There's more pictures coming every day, i've just got to do some lighting editing on some of them, because lts face it, the lighting in that building was atrocious, and i'm trying to best to remove all the orange and yellow tinges it gave everyone's skin.

I feel your pain on the eyepatch side of things. On the Sunday, whenever I took mine off, I'd be like WHOOOA COLOOOR BRIGHTNESS VISSSIOOOON!!

Hold on, so you were Grelle AND the girl who i helped untie the knot and chased you to tell you you forgot your change? I had no idea you were the same person! And all day i walked around wondering, "where's Grelle?" XD Btw, i love the pictures i took of you outside as Grelle, if you haven't seen them on Conpix.net yet, go look! were some of my favourites, 'cause the wind was just billowing your hair and it was so awesome!
