It may be just a one-off character, but it looks more like a character design for an anime to me...
Damn, he does have a kick-ass outfit though!

I have a picture of a character whom I would love to find out who they are and cosplay them! But I would need better reference pictures because I want to enter it in the contest. :think:

Trouble is I can't find more pictures of them anywhere. sad

I did discover a character whom I want to enter in the Wellington 2011 cosplay contest next year while searching for reference pictures of this mystery character so that's a bonus! (I know who they are too, well, after some research sweatdrop

).

I don't know but on the French website version there is a tiny yellow thing in the corner that I see as either "OMG" or "OMO" or something like that. I used to have quite a lot of images with that on it. So I'm guessing it's an original.

I first tried Tineye to reverse image search, but all I found were a metric tonne of Vampire roleplayers all assigning equally cringeworthy names to that image and variants in their photobucket accounts. That French site was the same I suppose. That basically meant that the original image had a very different filename/dimensions/size. Because of the heavy artifacting around the Japanese it was obviously resized by some moron. I eventually decided to ditch Tineye and just go with google images instead.

Having found the 'OMC' thing in the corner in more than one image, I supposed it was important, and so I searched for the dimensions of the largest image + OMC in google. It didn't actually turn up the starting image which was weird, but at least I found the site.

From there it was just a matter of using both google images and manually trolling around the site until I found another image with that character, and then searching for more images with the text attached to that image until I turned up the character page.

'Order Made Content': Its 'consumer' service at the least seems to provide professional adaptations of your characters or whathaveyou. Looking at it, from an image they can do better ones, different scenarios involving the character, moefication, provide voice tracks, background music, write short stories, etc
