the buses in dunedin are sugar honey iced tea, but i think there should be a uni bus sometime in the weekend.

will have to check though, because usually buses just don't run in the weekend lmao

it is in dunedin. when we walked 8 blocks in cosplay a few years ago, students threw eggs at us.

might be different now, but dunedin is a real sugar honey iced tea hole

Usually walking wouldn't be a problem for me. But we are talking 8 blocks, in May, in Dunedin. 8D Unless you derive some sort of satisfaction from watching a fellow cosplayer turn (literally) blue, I personally will have to find transport--be it bus, hitching a ride and pitching in for petrol, or paying for a taxi. Cursed circulatory issues. 8|

As long as it means we avoid getting egged. That doesn't sound like the best thing... egg is a pain to clean off clothes. sad

It depends on which night. Friday night, I don't mind, 'coz Saturday's the (supposedly) relaxy day. Saturday night - Competitions are frazzling enough with lots of sleep - I will not be happy if I don't get a decent amount of sleep before the contest...

What are the options with hiring another car? too expensive? There's ten of us in these two rooms, and I'd be willing to shuttle people back and forth each day...

To the staying up question, I'll do whatever. Don't wanna keep people awake.

And to the car thing, it really isn't that far at all.
It just sounds like one bad experience for you Lucy. I don't expect students to be out and about at like 9 with eggs.

I was planning on walking to the con, at least that's one less in a car.

I'll stay up/ sleep whenever, I don't really have a sleeping pattern during con weekends. xD

And walking is good for you!! =O Dunnaz is a small place. Shouldn't take more than half an hour, depending entirely on what motel you're staying in. 8D I'ma have to be walking for an hour each morning, so stop your complaining!! <333

It's more walking in cosplay. But to be fair, I have walked around Dunedin in cosplay on numerous occassion, so asides from that one time on Halloween, I did not get stuff thrown at me.
