Re-wear Comp Cosplay day?

Talking with some others there seems to be quite a bit of interest in re-wearing those hard-to-get-into/ to-pretty-or-hard-core-to-do-anything-in cosplays that only ever get worn at 1 or 2 conventions. Which kinda sucks when you've put SO MUCH EFFORT into it. The hours slaving out them and the money poured into them does justify the need to have somewhere else to wear them!

At the moment there is an interest for a day of photoshoots, looking at how other people put their costumes together and just having random social times with people day(s).

So,
Would you be interested in coming?
Are you more likely to wear a costume/be photographer/stalking awesome cosplayers/be social person?
If this interests you and you are outside of chch would you want it backed onto another event or stand alone day/weekend?

Nothing is planned yet so at the moment this is more of a discussion thing and I shall think of more questions as time goes by~

*Also please note this is not restricted to JUST competition cosplays.

I am so there. With my camera. I haven't had many chances to take photos of cosplayers since I got my new camera for Christmas (actually, just one chance, with Maddi and her Greil costume lol), so I would very much love an event like this! <3

Yeah, I'm keen. I will either wear zoro again, or if I have made extra progress on the Battletech costume I will wear that.

Also I will have camera, tripod, etc. And social, and stalking, with said camera.

Well... this never had a date to it. It was more the idea, seeing if people are interested and if they would cosplay or not. Seeing if people from outside Chch were interested (and possibly having it around geddon next year) -though it would appear not so we don't need to worry bout that.

Also I wondered what people would want to do. Its all very well dressing up but maybe we could do other things to like our own cosplay catwalk or something
