As far as the future arc being bad, I don't think that it was a bad arc so much as it just went on for too long. I think most people were starting to get bored -- even Amano, if the sudden ending was anything to go by.
But otherwise...

Not much to say, really; this week's chapter was pretty straight forward. Though I am glad that Tsuna's finally showing us what he can do~ 8D
Also on the topic of Adelheid's boobs expanding; I say she's using cloud flames to propagate and make her boobs bigger than they really are. Cheater. 8D
(Then again, I didn't notice them as much this chapter. Huh. *re-reads*

I'd be glad to, Reborn used to be my favourite series, so it's not like I've always hated it.
1) Future arc went on for FAAAAAAAAAAAAAR TOO LONG.
2) For the biggest arc in the series the last fight was just plain boring.
3) Reborn used to have quite a good plot, now it's just said screw that and turn it into a total battle manga with no plot, it's worse that Bleach at that.
4) It tries to incorporate Daily Life arc humor into it, but because of how serious the series has come, it just distracts from the general story. (Although I use the word "story" loosely)
5) Character development - Where is it?
6) Character relationships, I don't really mind this part, but as soon as Amano realized that girls like the series, and girls like yaoi, she just made it all about putting the guys in compromising situations with each other.
7) Again, reborn has never been good at this, but it's transitions between arcs is terrible.
I really did used to love Reborn. But the future arc started, and it started out fine. But then just got more and more ridiculous, and now I just can't take it seriously. |
