So anyway, I was wondering if anyone in Welly knew of a place near(ish) the TSB Bank Arena that sold um... chili fries? 8D;;

Not because I like them, I've never even tried them, but they would be good for photos of one of my costumes. 8Db

They're pretty much fries, with chili, mince and cheese on top. Very American. xD

Good luck. Good chilli takes hours to cook, and it is VERY american, as you said. I haven't seen a single place that does chilli since coming back to NZ, let alone chilli fries. I'd say you are squat out of luck.

Um. I want to say I'll make some and get photos, but actually I think I would eat them before you got your photos. Razz

Katipo cafe do cheesy fries, which is about the closest I've seen in NZ. But yeah, if you want to get some photos at my place, we can make nachos and eat them on fries?

Agreed, nacho fries (which some places DO have, and are delicious) are about as close as you are going to get.

Wendy's apparently has them too... >_>; Which is odd since I've never seen the- OH MY GOD AMERICAN IDOL. /cough. I've never seen them there.

They serve them with guacamole on top. Reminds me of club nachos I had at the Coffee Club... thing.
