City to surf cosplay fun walk

Its almost time for city to surf and I was wondering if there is anyone else out there interested in walking the city to surf in cosplay for a bit of fun and some good exercise

It sounds like a great idea and would so do it, but sadly don't have a cosplay costume yet. sad

so in the 2yrs you've been involved with the Christchurch Cosplay club you still don't have any sort of costume whatsoever?

Wow, and I though I was bad at procrastinating.

There is more to club than just cosplaying you know, yeah cosplaying is the main focus but there is also friendships heading over to fun events and enjoying having a common interest with video games manga anime and music (including J-pop)
If you think that you need a cosplay to be involved and have a strong connection with everybody within the club.. you need to start looking outside the box Will and learn that there is a whole lot more to this club than *just* cosplay and you don't need to make a cosplay costume to belong, I could never make a cosplay outfit in five years time and still not give a stuff because I see that the friendships that I have made are much more important than whether somebody hasn't made a cosplay outfit or not in the time that they have joined the club.

You may not need a costume to belong to the club, but it sure looks like you need one to actually participate

Guys, this is not a fighting place, if you have issues then take it to the mods or get over it, we are all adults here, lets make a good impression to the younger ones.

Claire you don't need to cosplay to join in! :]

Or if you wanted to join in you could wear my Cheshire cat cosplay.
Just come wearing what ever is comfortable and put the jacket on over.
The ears just top it off.

Not having a costume has NEVER been a problem in this club.

I don't mind going on a short walk but anything over an hour is too much hard work for me. *Is lazy* Going to the beach does sound like fun though. Smile

No it's okay, think it's time to get moving and get the sowing machine out and start making some cosplay costumes + think that it's time to get moving and start designing some cosplay costumes..

Plus think that's time to get moving anyways, epsically with Geddon coming around the corner..

I think it was more the way Will said it. It could be translated as 'You're really really bad at procrastinating'. Probably why there was a problem. Anyway, let's forget about it and you guys have fun ~~killing yourselves~~ doing the walk!
