Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, guys, but we are going to have to call this off.

As it turns out, Boys High does not have their soccer posts up, plus it seems we wont be able to get enough people for a decent game.

Next game will be organised further in advance, and we may actually have time to find somewhere at which we can play on a smaller pitch.

The time has come for the second game!

When: 3pm Saturday 13th March
Where: Christchurch Boys High School field - It's on the Metrostar bus route, and a short walk from any buses going down Riccaton Road

Scratch that, I'm coming anyway.

Also, query: shouldn't quidditch, muggle or not, be played with brooms? :C Do we get to use brooms? Because otherwise it's kind of sad and... un-quidditchly. (I mean, I was reading on the forums and it doesn't sound like we do, which defeats the point a bit, in my opinion. ^^;; )

I mean, it'll be awesome anyway, but... yeah.

You're allowed to run around on brooms if you want. You have to bring your own, and it may hinder your playing, but feel free.

Turned out to be an AWESOME~ day.

Somewhere between 13-16 of us showed up, and managed to play few 2 games and work the kinks out of the rules.
Main problem:
WE NEED A SMALLER FIELD.
Just picture, a bunch of bookwormy, geeky type people who spend more time on the computer than anything else, trying to run the length of a soccer field many many times.

And I found the first snitch 8D

But, yeah. It was great. We should be having another day soon, so we will keep updating this thread with info.

And we got barely any pictures, as everyone was playing.

Oh, and Kitty-of-Doom was appointed the fourth founder of the CHSMQL, because without her, we would never have gotten off out rears and organised anything. <3
