Lead singer of Dimmu Borgir has the most fricken amazing voice when he sings.
I was doing research on Norwegian black metal for school. Church burnings and murder. That guy Gahl just screams evil...

I love all types of music the only type that is dieing to me is Rap it used to be so good, tell all the good rapers died it's like they took the meaning of the music with them...
msi is rather good *found some of there music in a hidden folder that was hidden* lol i should never hide folders i fail to remember that thay are there.

I like alot of dark music, however most death metal sounds "dark" for the sake of being "dark" so I have a major distaste for it, even stuff like tool and APC which most people seem to adore, brings a bit of a gag reflex from me.

I love Nick Cave which someone brought up before, murder ballads is a fine album, but im a major fan of all his work.

Though it may bring much dread I also have a soft spot for Insane Clown Posse and their associated group Twiztid and Dark Lotus, all of which are known for rather dark lyrics. Though with those groups its often a "love them or hate them" deal.

I'm heavily into grunge and punk music and obviously most of those can be dark depending on your definition of the word.

but if we're being picky I was also a fan of manson back in the day and because of that saw him live when he came. Also a huge huge fan of the misfits who I also saw live and got to speak to.

If we are still recommending music, i recomend the song "No pity for a coward" by Suicide Silence.

The song is about trying to convince someone to shoot himself in the end.
Doesn't get much darker than that ^-^

Erm, Job for a Cowboy, also amazing. Bring me the Horizon could be dark, but alot of people might just say they're try hard pansies.
