Assassins Creed 2 By Phlaming Phoenix-. 02/03/10, 04:38 pm |
| I dont know if there is already a topic for this.. but I didnt see one. In any case, Assassins Creed 2? I have not played it, but have watched a few videos/trailers and I want to play it desperately. People who have played it, what are your opinions? |

| Played it. Effing brilliant. It would appear that ubisoft actually listened to the feedback about Creed 1, and fixed all their mistakes in Creed 2. On a whole, it is much better than the first game - and I LIKED the first game. |

| Excellent. What did you play it on exactly? and how would you suggest aquiring it? And would you think getting it on PC would be worth it? |

This is why I want to play it. I mean, people criticised Creed 1 for having "repetitive gameplay", (which I never considered a bad thing, given how I loved it), and having you run around doing lots of fetch-quest style donkey work in the build up to an assassination, and not utilizing its movement mechanics for better combat, and apparently Ubisoft has improved all of this.
My cousin in australia has it and said it was great... but he has it on 360, so I'm not sure how it's translated onto PC. |

| I have it on the PS3, got it during the boxing day sales. I have the PC port of Creed 1 and it was great, once you got the hang of the controls. Controls that are intuitive on a console have a learning curve on the PC, but it isn't too bad.
I'd be all for the PC port, if you have the graphics card to run it. Creed 1 was fairly intense in h/w usage, and I imagine Creed 2 would take some serious power to play on high.
That being said, that game looks better on PC. At least, Creed 1 did. No joke. |

| Yeah.. lately if i try to do anything intenseive on my laptop it throws a fit and overheats. And i simply dont have the funds to get a new one. If only if only.. yeah I agree that controls are more intuitive with a controler. especially with such games. For example I wouldnt want to play an RTS on anything but a computer. |

| LolIt was the most EPICIST game ever...Epicist isn't a word. I still like Altair better than Ezio. The second game has better gameplay and alot more to do. O_o My xbox deleted all of my AC2 savedata now I have to play through the whole thing again. That annoyed me. |
