| Well why not, I'm assuming by the thread name you mean Elder scrolls: Oblivion, I liked it, it was gooood, though I played it on the 360, used to spend hours just creating faces for the characters |

| Yeah, the fighting was terrible for new characters. I preferred some things in morrowind over oblivion but over all oblivion is definitely the better.
@Mandie Chan Yeah they are making another one. I'm fairly sure its set in the Summerset Isles (the high elf place). Not sure when it comes out though. Plus it runs on the Crysis engine ^^ graphics are gonna be sweeeeeeeeet |

Re: OBLIVION. PSSSH. By Phlaming Phoenix-. 23/02/10, 05:12 am |
| I played Morrowind, and loved it. (except when you cant hit stuff >_<) I played Oblivion, and Adored it. I thought that the quests were brilliant(if short in terms of storyline). My biggest problem with it was that it was much simpler than Morrowind, which was slightly dissapointing. The other thing, was that the magic could use some tweaking, especially in terms of animation effects >_< BLACK HAND FTW |

Whodunit? FTW!
I totally agree with you about the oblivion being simpler. I was a bit disappointed at how short the game was and how there wasn't as much depth like we saw in Morrowind. I loved the side quests more though~ it was just the main quest line that annoyed the heck out of me. Heres hoping the next game doesn't get worse again quality wise. |

| I loved some of the side-quests. Glarthir was the most hilarious character I have ever seen(until the shivering Isles came out at least..) And Black Hand quests were more fun than anything I did in Morrowind. Though you are right, the story line is lacking. |

Bethesda have a habit of making incredibly long games, but with most of that being taken up with side quests. I'd much rather have a longer, more in depth main story than a truck load of meaningless crap. I don't really love any of their games, to be honest, Oblivion included. It's just a little too much for me. I do like the story behind the Elder Scrolls games, though. |

W-what? You thought Oblivion was short? sorry >_<; should have explained myself better. I thought the MAIN STORY LINE was short. I do agree that overall it was a long game but I didn't like the fact I could finish the main quest in 2 days... |

| ^ I thought that would be the case. It's filled with so many random fetch and carry sidequests (like every RPG) the main story gets kinda lost.
Bawww, want more main story! |

quick someone pass the motion
Well at least the side quests had a wide range of interesting things you could do. The main quest had a really good idea behind, I just think they should have extended it a bit (and perhaps have added another interesting angle) |

Never played Oblivion so can't judge though it sounds disappointing that it has a lack of storyline..
storyline vs anything else = storyline pwns |

| The whole game was actually rather short. Once you figure out how everhything works the whole game (side quests and main story) only takes like a week to do. Tops |

awwww thanks for the concern I would totally do that lol you should still play the game if you ever get a chance, the story is good but it's just not very long which is what I'm complaining about.
also @ pople whom have played knights of the nine expansion is it any good? I've been thinking of buying it but I can't seem to find it anywhere... but if its worth playing I think I'll up my search for it ^_^ |
