Cheats, Codes and Doohickehs

BWAHAHAHAAH ANOTHER ONE OF MY THREADS!

Well, who here ACTUALLY uses cheats or codes? By that I mean ones that give you an advantage over the game like infinite hp, max money or this or that.

I, use Action Replay only on DS games cause if I have it at my disposal my mind tells me to activate infinite HP T_T

Ah, I find it hard to play most FPS (First person shooting) games without co-op gameplay with someone else.

I never cheat on things like Fighting games and RPG's cause I like doing stuff normally there.

I usually only use them when I've finished a game (usually an RPG like TWEWY or KH) to collect missing stuff like reports, items and such but i will occaisionally use them if I'm really stuck on a boss or something.

Cheats usually make the game boring, the only game I've actually enjoyed using cheats in, was Civ2, if I got mad at the computer for being too annoying, I'd zap in 1million little men and take over all their towns Mad

I used to cheat in the sims, then I realised how easy/more fun it is to make money, that being said, the 'cheats' in the sims that unlock a few options are fun

I love using the boolprop cheat in Sims2 when I get bored xD My sister once kept spawning babies, she had loads just lying on the floor >_>

Like SockPanda, only cheats and codes after finishing the game. Just to go crazy on certain things. Cheats really take the fun out of the game, if you're really stuck, look up a walkthrough or get tips off of people. =/

i only use cheats on games like GTA when i get bored like the weapon cheat then go on a rampage and get killed/arested

Only get to get out of the rough spots, or maybe spent hours and hours on a very frustrating puzzle and can't seem to get out, then will maybe try and cheat or just go online and look up a walkthrough on gamefags.com

yeah, dont really cheat, I occasionally use a walkthrough or something if I dont have the time to spend solving annoying puzzles, and I have been known to "tweak" my neverwinter characters to suite my playing style, but godmode/infinite whatever cheats are kinda... lame...

hmmm, hard to pick the option I'm thinking of, I normally finish the games first, then if there are cheats that make the game funny (for instance GTA), I'll play around with them then

Anyways, the cheats I use are in hard games on DS, such as Contra 4 if anyone has played it or the original.. SO FREAKING HARD!!

Cheats make things too easy so I never use them. I also avoid walkthroughs until I have played the game at LEAST once (usually twice.)
To be honest, I find games far more enjoyable if I spend hours and hours grinding my teeth and shouting at the screen in order to finally obtain the Rather Useless Item. I guess that's a little obsessive-compulsive in some situations, but like I always say, "The frustration makes it fun."

That's what i'm like in RPG's, im the powergrinder kinda type where I get 5 - 10 levels ahead of where I need to be to make it easier for me.
