Who else is excited, asides Gemma, Mischa and our other Welly gang who are all big on it?

Looking at the website for it is already getting me creeped out. Still yet to find a horror movie that scares me but a horror GAME?! Ho boy... XD

I am SO EXCITED. There's no way we could afford the collectors edition right now though, hopefully we'll be able to put it on lay-by.

The original game is so beautiful and atmospheric... Ugh, if this one is half as good, I will still be pleased.

Oh man, the one at EB in Wellington sold out! XD The background music to the website is giving me chills right now!

@ Link -well, technically, if they're caught out selling a game before release date, they can get slapped a MIGHTY big fine and get in serious trouble if they do.

Oh, everyone also realise that since this is having a global same-day release, we're one of the first places in the world to get the game? :3 almost 24 hours before parts of America too!

I know, when I worked at EB we would always have to ring up complaining about the Warehouse breaking the street date. Laughing

But that hasn't stopped this one particular branch (that will remain nameless lol) consistently having games out the day (days in the case of New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Borderlands) before they're supposed to.

Good ol' morons.

Sadly not this time, perhaps they've wised up or finally got in trouble over it.

Link - Oh gosh, I was the same. Used to work at Central Park Interactive back in '03 (yeah, when it was still around XD) and we'd have some stores around town release stuff in advance. Tisk, tisk. Lol, wonder if one of them was the same branch you mentioned... X3

But anyways, YAY! The game will be out soooonnn!

...Isn't breaking embargo the kind of thing that will get you thousands of dollars of fines? When the last Harry Potter book came out, the boxes were covered in tape saying that we'd be fined if we so much as broke the seal on the boxes. D:

I get the feeling the people working there don't pay much attention to what they're doing really, doesn't bother me, sometimes I get early games! Bioshock 2 519410

The manager use to go to the Warehouse simply to snap them out lol. Like some hidden camera show or something.

Kai and I watched some of the game play at a friends house last night and it was AMAZING!

The opening cutscene disturbed me and I absolutly love the creepy yet sweet bond between the big Daddies and their Little Sisters.

Not to mention the Big Sisters are awesome, they are so elegant and scary.

Also had a look through the artbook and got sooooo many cosplay ideas

Also got the Collector's Edition. It is so neat!
And the game is amazing! I am not all the way through yet since I want to stretch it out but so far it is awesome.

Man, this game is $30 cheaper at JB Hi Fi than it is at EB Games. That is a ridiculous differense :/

@everyone - Big sisters are beautiful! I'm not one to run up and glomp a cosplayer, but I really WOULD if I saw a nicely done Big Sister one! >:3

Also guys, if you can't find the Special Edition online, you might be able to on online NZ gaming stores. Some sell a version that doesn't have the soundtrack - but has the game, artbook and a VERY pretty Little Sister figurine. ;)
