[CD10] KINGDOM HEARTS CHESS - Cosplay Day 2010

KINGDOM HEARTS CHESS!

So pretty much, we're wanting 32 people to head to Palmy on January 24th 2010 to have a chess game - with the cosplayers as the pieces. (We came up with Palmy because it's pretty central for everyone)

White
King - Mickey TAKEN (Freddy)
Queen - Sora TAKEN (Beth)
Bishop 1 - Namine
Bishop 2 - Roxas
Kinght 1 - Goofy
Kinght 2 - Donald
Rook 1 - Riku
Rook 2 - Kairi TAKEN (Kiki)
Pawns - 8 FF characters

Black
King - Ansem
Queen - Xemnas TAKEN (Fox)
Bishop 1 - Saix
Bishop 2 - Axel TAKEN (Emo!Axel)
Kinght 1 - Xaldin
Kinght 2 - Xigbar
Rook 1 - Zexion TAKEN (Axelinn)
Rook 2 - Xion TAKEN (Tails)
Pawns - 8 Heartless (wear black xD)

As for actually playing the game of chess, I think it'd work best if we had two people to direct the two teams in the chess match. Of course this doesn't need to be set people, and we could have two groups of people, I just thought it'd be easier than having the chess pieces themselves trying to work a strategy while they were on the chess board. We're not all Ron Weasley's. xDDD

Also, if you want to be someone particular but they're not on the list, I'm happy to change it. ^.^ We'll sort out exact location and time closer to the date, and if you want to know anything else, don't hesitate to ask.

I has no time or monnies >.> And I actually wanted to wear Len as I'm putting heaps of effort into it v.v;; Rather than doing a closet cosplay of a Heartless...

@Kiki - My guess is we won't really be able to get the right amount of KH cosplayers, so I'm sure it'd be fine for you to just turn up and be a pawn. ^.^

Yeah, I completely love your idea, But if it could be any cosplay from any series I feel it would be better, Because not everyone will want to cosplay from Kingdom hearts.~ :) The only KH cosplay I have is Kairi and I've whored that out too much this year~

Actually scratch that, chuck me down as King Mickey, I just realied I needed to do 2-3 of my costumes for Auckgeddon as well as wellygeddon costumes these holidays (adding kh2 sora to the list would be overkill XP)

@Kiki - I'd still love the main pieces to be as many KH characters as possible, but the pawns don't matter so much. This is just my dream, to have KH chess. Also you can be whatever version you want really.

@rengen - If you want I can put your name down as a maybe for whatever character you want, because if it turns out you can come, that way you won't miss out on who you want to be. ^.^

Well Palmy is good for cheap student backpacker places I do believe. Accommodation is always the worst.
