yeah i have. its mostly a table top gaming convention so think dungeons and dragons gurps magic the gathering war hammer ect. they also do the odd larp. so if your into that sorta thing its cool but its no armageddon

I won't suggest cosplay. Unless you play some sort of tabletop RPG/TCG

lol, yeah, Ive been a few times to play magic and played the odd larp...
You could possibly set up a larp of some sort, but Im assuming you know how to do that stuff, cuz the kitty doesent!
If that were a point of interest, I could ask karen (one of the organizers) to give you more info.

The table top gamers tend to be really serious like, and probably wont be overly delighted if cosplayers invade their space...

Its still a funky event if D&D style gaming is your thing.

I was in this group during my years at Uni...hmmmm. It's primarily a weekend set up for table top role playing, card gaming (think Magic the gathering etc) etc.

There is often a LARP (live action role playing - think theatre sports or extra long skits).

Definatly something to go to if your into role playing. card or table top gaming...Im sure you'll find people interested in Anime etc while your there.

Yeah I went, my mate told me it was go to be "like armageddon but with warhammer"...not quite. Its mainly just people playing warhammer or three stalls selling warhammer stuff.

It was still pretty fun watching him play a game but it wasnt worth driving all the way to the ASB stadium on a sunday
