the wig plans didnt go so well (was going to dye and reuse mizore wig but mizore wig was out of stock.. and mizore cancelled : P)

I'm going to be doing this at Auckgeddon - but not Saturday though. I'm booked on Sat. XD

I think Sunday because I can be Happy with PI's Natsu. Razz

So should I do a mascot suit or a gijinka? xD I'm having soooo much trouble deciding!

I think having a suit may be more recognisable, but gijinka would probably be more easier to move in but be less recognised.
What do you think? Surprised

A gijinka would be a lot more comfortable as geddon gets pretty warm but a mascot suit would be cool... I dunno

HAPPY!!! that would be so freakin awesome. Gijinka or Mascot, either way would be amazing, especially if we got both you and Natsu together for pics etc.
Auckgeddon eh? Now that there is more fairy tail love about, im tempted to try for a cosplay of one of the characters. have to decide who, and how to get to auckgeddon if i was actually gunna do it. but still!

I'm still torn between mascot Happy or Gijinka Happy!!!

I've drawn up plans for a costume that can be adjusted to go both ways, but I have yet to figure out how to do the head so I can have it as a gijinka, and then change it to a mascot~

PEOPLE HELP ME DECIDE ;A;
I know if I do gijinka I will be recognised 99% of the time if I have a Natsu to accompany with. Very Happy

But once Natsu goes missing, I, I-I, I,.... ;A; Natsu~ come back~

Then a mascot would be loved whether Natsu is present or not, but I dunno~~~~ >A<

Well, as a mascot, people will love it whether or not they recognise the character. How big a mascot where you thinking?

Just my body size. The head will be a little bigger though if doing just a mascot suit. :)
So far what I have planned is a hoodie with a drawstring hole. I can pull it back for gijinka, and than pull it down over my head, so I'll have Happy's face on it. This means that the hole will be tightened around my neck, but you'll prolly see some gathered wrinkles around there. Very Happy

Do you think I should put some stuffing in my arms and legs in case the fabric is a little droopy? xD

Hmmm, interesting idea. Idk bout the extra stuffing, happy's arms arent that poofy or anything..
But whatever you decide to do, it will be awesome :)

The stuffing would be just a thin layer around to give it a slight fullness, but I guess it depends on how tight I make the sleeves and legs as well. :)

I hate it when I get so indecisive!! I can't decide~ DX

What I have planned is that I'll have separate bits: a top with a hoodie, short, arm warmers and leg warmers.
I'm planning to somehow make the arm and leg warmers be able to come up and attach onto the top and shorts, so then I'll be in mascot. The hoodie I explained earlier...

Do you think that would work? I'll just have extra seams. Razz
