collabs?

we have decided dat everyone will be doing one panel... and if you wanna do multiple panels, dat's fine too... so here's da list of ppl who are interested... n we'll juz draw n pass on da panels in this order, i.e. i draw the 1st panel n pass it on to sockpanda who draw da 2nd panel... etc.

PA: and can i plz have everyone's dA link? so dat we can list everyone's icons in our shared dA page for this collab...

log in on dA, n upload da panel dat u drew plz... n i'll start da doujin coz thermo(our original no.1) was busy.

it's bleach related n u can juz do whatever u want with it... upload da pic(in a page) when u've finished da panel, da nxt person will download da pic n make da nxt panel then upload it... etc etc...

all good? sweet~ hope we get this rollin right away then~

PS: plz don't randomly change da club's name/password/journal etc... if everyone do dat, it's gonna b REALLY messy

I've seen some groups of people do a panel-at-a-time collab where everyone takes turns in drawing one panel of a doujinshi. <3

dat's a rly good idea! plus it's easy n quick for everyone n nobody would have to worry about being too busy or somethin... since one panel is not too hard

What series do you plan to do a Doujin for? =D I might be interested too, but yeah I don't know a lot of the series that are popular. xD

Semi-off-topic: Is it... 'legal' to make a comic of a book? Like, just put the book into comic form? Not for profit or anything, just for fun. But yeah - is it? o_O

hm... i'm not really sure but I think it is illegal, but of course it's still ok ( i think ^^;) if you just do it privately and not post it onto the internet or anything, maybe print it out and let a few friends and family read it or something lol

Yeah, I think it's ok if it's non-profit. I mean, it's just like fanart if there's no money to be made.

It sure happens enough anyway. xD

Some artists have specified that they don't want any fan stuff produced of their work (usually authors trying to dodge blasphemous fan fics) but I don't think many manga artists do.

*nods* 'Coz I was wanting to do, literally, a comic version of a book - same story, characters and everything. Just, in pictures. And put it on my dA or something. But I don't wanna get in trouble with copyright law or anything. o_O;
