Somehow I doubt many people have heard of this xDDDD

Anyway, it's a currently airing anime, literally translating to 'Sounds of Skies' or whatever you prefer,
It's set in the town of Seize, where a girl named Kanata Sorami (first name FIRST) finds inspiration in a trumpeter that she encounters. (Although she carries around a bugle) She joins the army, and is assigned to Seize, and is under the care of Rio Kazumiya, who is a really good trumpeter.
Kanata herself is pretty sucky at the bugle...

ANYWAY
yes, there are what, 2 episodes out? Go watch them. Not kidding. The next one comes out on... monday.

It's a good show airing this season, don't be put off by the army theme, it's really a total slice of life anime.

Kiddy Girl-AND was an alright anime for this season, but I love slice of life anime....

Actually yes, a lot of anime nowadays have too many translation groups going at it. lol xD well makes it easier to find.

My brother described this series to me as "K-ON! With trumpets! They even have a Yui-type character and someone called MRio."

He tried to get me to watch it, with moderate success. Now I want to watch more.

Then he tried to get me to watch Kampfer, with... slightly mixed results.

Mio and Rio are totally different, but it doesn't matter. There shouldn't be that many similarities? After all, it's not a KyoAni production.

Slice of life anime is great and every season needs a good dose of it.

Ok, this is my honest thoughts - after 2 episodes

This anime has amazing production (background, music), and the setting is extremly vast and deep. It's mostly set far into the future in an post-apocalyptic world, and the story from episode one describes possible nuclear warfare.

THEY USE THIS FOR A SLICE OF LIFE. Which means all those setting up will go to WASTE. ZILCH. ;AAAAAAA;

All in all, not a good show to do a slice of life, I'd rather watch Hidamari Sketch for this season's share of SoL.

Also, Chuu-bra is so much more fun as a drama CD. 8D

Dropping this for now as I'm following too much, may pick up again if it turns plot driven later on, but I'm still waiting to bath torrent Cross Game this April. . .

i was expecting something along the lines of k-on and strike witches, so i'm kinda surprised by how it has turned out.
not sure what to make of it really, i've only seen the first ep so i'm gonna give it another chance. the characters didn't really interest me, but there were a few scenes (like the elfen lied OP style art for the retelling of that fire legend majig) that interested me. : D
