Styling Irma's hairdo with real hair?

Considering entering Irma from Chocobo Tales in the Chchgeddon comp, & since my hair is currently red, I'd prefer to use it.

I have a few ideas...kind of similar to how I did my Ultimecia wig, but styling a wig & styling your own hair are so different!

Any ideas? nodnod

i say get a wig anyway.

seriously, that looks tough to do on your own head.

but what do i know, i've never wiged.

I'm considering making the 'horns' from a wig. I just hate how wigs look from the back when they're split into ponytails ya know? If my hair's the same colour, might as well use it~

psh, true.

if you did use a wig

you could use something in side the ponytail things. so it don't flop.

and having them connected to a headband thing under a wig

Yeah I have been thinking along the lines of a hollow cone, maybe from craft foam, with my real hair sitting inside in a bun or something with the wig hair covering the outside. I wish I was more girly growing up so I knew more...hair stuff...>.> But I like your thinking! Very Happy

I used to know someone who styled her own hair like the flower card with just a can of hairspray and a comb, So It's possible

Really? Ha I'm cosplaying the Flower card as well. Why do I choose characters with horns for hair?! I'll ask my flatmate when I get home, she was a hairdresser~
