@Nee: While I think that it would be good to disperse the load of making cookies I do however want to keep the quality of the cookies consistent so it would be better if I get one person/group to make the cookies and I've already contacted them.

While lollies would be nice we do want to keep the menu relatively balanced and as such we can't have too many sweet things. Will be discussing it more with Seong at a later date when I sort out my life more. Should be settled down by mid-Jan

However I would be DELIGHTED if you guys helped make the fairy bread. But not totally sure if they will be on the menu yet. Though I do love the cookie cutter idea that Jess stated.

2. GNC's health and safety rules that apply to it limit what we can do. So will post up details when I get them.

@Yuki: XP letting people choose who they would like to serve them wouldnt work as

1. people will be rostered
2. the number of customers will also be smaller

@Cheri: hurr ... nah easier to let GNC supply the drinks ...

@Thread in general: While I am very pleased with how things are going atm (yay minimal unrelatedness) please do keep in mind to keep spam off this thread as much as possible though I understand the need to reply to other people and express shock over horrendous prices <3~ but I'm still proud of you guys

I am slightly against having things like Ramune, this is just IMO, I think that it's uh, something we should not sell. Not only is the price for ramune unreasonable unless we can find some way to buy it in bulk, it is also typically a con or otaku related foodstuff // cough SHOT DOWN

I just think that ordinary lemonade would do instead.

Besides, we'd be serving it in glasses, so the marble in the top of the bottles will be a betch, yeah?

@kagerouhi: Lolol, I wasn't serious about the omurice xD I just meant, that idea of drawing on things we serve out might be uh, charming ;D

For food you can make cream puffs. My brother says that they are easy to make, a cute little pastry things and you can decorate them with icing. The only downside is the whipped cream in them but you can fill them when someone orders them if you are worried about it going off. I just don't know if you can sell things that have cream at them because of the food restrictions.

Well the recipe that my brother and dad uses makes about 50-60, and you can make them the night before if you are worried about that. I can help with making them and will also rope my brother in to help cook them although he might have uni that day....

It seems like we have many people willing to prepare food beforehand. How is this going to be checked? Will there be someone nearby to tell us whether or not we're within regulations or something? Or will there be some sort of form beforehand that needs to be filled in? I don't understand the way the organising of this will go. ~~Not that it matters, I'm just coming in to waitress about~~

hurr i believe it is in the first post that i will be discussing with seong what his food regulations are ... since it is afterall his store it is expected that he know what he can and cannot sell in his store due to lack of appropriate equipment

i didnt want to say this before hand because i do believe it can sometimes stem the flow of ideas which is necessary but

please do put a little thought into your ideas (this applies to everyone <3) before posting or at least refer back to the top post to check that i havent updated it yet

But snice this is gonig to be my 1st DO. So I really wouldn't like to have long hours . I would like to just come in and help with the cleaning of table and plates and may even serve.

So long as there is a fridge available to keep the cream cold, it shouldn't be a problem (I'm assuming there'll be fridge access for things like milk and cold drinks??). Whip the cream in the morning, and add to dish when ordered.

Cream puffs are pretty easy ... Mum and I usually do a batch every Christmas. You can buy boxed ones to, I think ... tho those might need to be kept in a freezer.

But with the healthy safety thing would we have to tie up our hair? or in the back wear a hair net? - just wondering
and is there room to put our bags down where they can't get stolen?

generally it will be fine for those in teh kitchen

we will also be using disposable gloves, hand sanitizers and it would be much appreciated if you could wear a hat and tie up long hair/wigs <3~
