Hey Madj, I have a first aid badge from Guides, so I can do CPR and a few other things like wrapping a bandage, but it was a while ago.

I did a first aid thingy a few years back tho most of the class was spent kissing some dummy thing not sure if i learned much in it :)

I got nothin' in terms of First Aid. :C

However, I'll see if I can bring along some chips ~~for the chip convention~~~. Maybe some candy, while I'm at it.

Good to see so many people who know basic first aid, then! I'm going to be preparing a First Aid kit (as these legally binding forms dictate) but yeah, never hurts to have more bandaids or other miscellaneous First Aid items on hand. (Did you see that? I just made a joke. Two of 'em, even. -kneeslap-)

@Luzkan The deal with food mostly is that you can contribute to bringing food to share if you so wish but this is not mandatory. If you don't want to share, you don't have to. :)
And kissing the dummy was totally the best part of First Aid -thumbsup-

Alrighty then, so I compiled a checklist.

Okay, so this was written up as notes to just myself but w/e.

Here's the full outline of what the Weather Contingency Plan ~~Ohohoh~~ is. I wake myself at an ungodly hour to check the weather for y'all and then pass judgement on it ~~(like a Judge Magister)~~. If it's "Early morn' and all is well!" then it goes ahead no problem (pretty much). However if I feel like it's not going to be great weather for us to be out in the town then I quickly shoot off some emails and several other cross-posted notices everywhere stating so. This should be up by about 7AM on the day (omg inorite), since I know a few of you are coming from out of town (ie, Cierafire and her 8AM train). If it's obviously bucketing down with rain, do the sensible thing and stay wrapped up in bed, mm'kay?

By the looks of things, it doesn't look like there will be a postponement since weekend afterwards lots of people aren't available anymore and next holiday is Welly'Geddon. D: Buuut I keep on checking Metservice and et cetera and it looks like the weather will be clearing up well for then! Backwards rain dance! MOAR.

My brain is shutting down on me now (proof of this is the very unfortunate misspelling of a word just now that neither you nor the swear filter will ever see) so I'm going to go hit the sack now. kthx.

Stereo: Does anyone have an ipod dock? If they do, we can all fill up out ipods with cool music and just play it from there.

I'll cross it off the list! How many items in all would you say?

Stereo: It's a fair idea but one thing you gotta take into account is that if we play music the whole time a few people might be sort of debating or waiting impatiently or hogging the thing (but not in an out-loud way), as some people often do (though we could always have like a ten-minute swap or something). Also, last time we played music most of the way through and it went unheard for the most part anyway haha. So I figured maybe to have a few times where music was playing ie. Hare Hare Yukai (hurr) or Lucky Star or whatever. In which case we need to decide when this is. Also, if someone is bringing something as expensive as an iPod/dock, who's taking responsibility if it gets lost or damaged in some way? Dock especially so if it gets wet.

Intro Skit: Something went wrong with some embedding coding there methinks :B Weirdly, I came up with a pretty good idea last night as I was trying to doze off (???). Half a tick.

@azeria xD sweet, thanks :) Yeah, we're hoping to maybe gain access to an electrical socket somewhere in the area for miscellaneous electrical item use, but who knows.

INTRO SKIT
This time the skit idea is a little different. It's not a parody of a comedy (FFVII Gold Saucer play luuulz) but just a parody. I'm hoping it'll still be entertaining though. It involves [the cutscenes from this segment of DMC4] (or a parody I am currently scrawling up thereof); loud, dramatic, Shakespearean-esque reciting; and just two people. Now uh... I want to ~~roleclaim~~ be one of the two, so I just need someone loud and dramatic to play along with me. So, who's up for ~~acting the goat~~ it? -cough-
