chat box.

on portal, it'd be cool if there was a chat box, so people online can talk to each other, without having to like bump forums needlessly, and also they can like whisper each other if they don't want to give their email addresses to each other.

and to stop spamming have like 3 posts every 10 seconds or something or get silenced for a minute or something.

BUILD ON THIS.

Maybe we should just combine the threads and sticky them.

Basically: It doesn't get used that much after the first week.

^This. I don't mind trying it again if enough people want it, but generally we find it ends up growing cobwebs after a week or so, and take it down as it's a waste of space. sweatdrop

I find that with chatboxes, one of two things happen. Either the chatbox dies, or the threads do. And if the threads die, then the chatbox is nothing but a nerfed IRC channel, so meh. Does not want.

If you guys want to keep it, you should use it!
The chat box is located at the bottom of the forum home/directory.

It's really poplaur late at night between the 10 pm- 12 am Hour. Usually 5- 7 people on at once. =)

Maybe it would be good if you eneabled the chatbox close to a cosplay event~ Cuz it's noticeable that more people go on closer to an event :3

Or like with another board I know, there are about 3 people who use it CONSTANTLY. Just the few, but it's definitely in use.

If you open up the "archives" in a new window, it serves as a detachable chat.
