well, my mum was invited to a screening last week. and i went with her.

i was quite surprised, it seemed like it would have been bad, because it's about a murdered girl watching over her family and murderer. but, it was actually really good.

pretty sure a thread already exists....discussing the trailer.


I may or may not see it. The deciding factor will be if anyone wants to see it with me...but after the Hitchikers guide to the galaxy destroyed my hope and enthusiasm for book adaptations, I'm not optimistic.

Why I didn't see the Time Travellers wife. Loved the book, didn't want to spoil it.

I am in LOVE with the Book, and in LOVE with Peter Jackson!!!

I have been waiting for its movie release since PJ announced he was making it!!!!!!!!!!

Book was brilliant . . though from what I could see of the trailer, it was more of a thriller genre.

Just got back from seeing.

I am now classing it as one of my favorite Movies of all time (Best movie I have seen this year) O_o...It was a Crud load better than I thought it would be and I have not cried that much in a movie in a long loooooonnnnnnnggggggg time.

I think I need to read the book now XD

I've read my sisters keeper, the lovely bones & time travellers wife and I'm undecided on if I want to watch the movies. They tend to just make be frustrated. D8< Though everyone keeps reporting back good things. ;-;

I watched it yesterday. It's pretty great. And sad.
I'd read the book two years ago or so . . so I couldn't remember much but it's real good. The murderer guy was creepy . . more so than I expected.
