Yea, I saw it and the movie did nothing for me either. I'm not a fan of any of those films in that genre of "oh this real totally real" horrors. I'm a huge horror movie fan but the movies like this bore me and this was no exception.

Especially since the horror in this was essentially someone knocking on a door alot. to me there's nothing scary about that, and am really unsure where the hype came from but it does seem to follow the horrors of this genre lately (most recently being REC and Cloverfield, neither of those did much for me either).

I understand that people may be freaked of the theory "omg this could happen to me" so perhaps that I was interested in demonology as a child ruined the "realism" for me and removed the factor of "this could happen" (yea im strange).

I wouldn't recommened seeing it but then again I'm a movie snob so I'm not worth listening to.

I saw the movie online >_>
It wasnt nearly as good as what I hoped, in the end I found the charaters mental state degrading over the movie the most interesting part. Other then that, not scary, no jump scenes, not overly creepy.

I wouldnt pay to see it, not even to rent it out >_<

I watched this Sunday night, I'm normally not good with horrors at all. But I didn't find this scary at all. It was more startling than scary.

But it was definitely over-hyped.

I couldn't stop laughing at the girls who sat behind us who screamed at every bedroom scene...too funny

They also squealed at Robert Pattison during the trailer -_-'

I would go to the cinima, just for the screamers, though she loses funny points for squealing and Robert Pattison.... that kinda stuff is scaryer then any horror movie XD

I saw it due to the hype - and I must say I was quite disappointed.

The only exciting/scary parts happened in the last 10 minutes >__> Everything else was lame imo.
And this is coming from someone who gave up on horrors 2 years ago because she began to freak out after watching them! xD

Ahaha - I can cope with gore (e.g. Saw - love the series!). It's the mind-physics ones that do me in...

But I prefer thrillers now :3 More realistic and exciting than supernatural ones
