Hetalia Day 2011

Hello everyone!
Well, it's been announced that, this year, Hetalia Day is on the 22/10 - which is a saturday.

So, is anyone willing to do anything?
I was thinking we could have a meet up and have some fun, get to know each other - at Hamilton Gardens, maybe? We could organize a photoshoot for those who are cosplaying, as long as we have people willing to take photos! Anyone who has a NZ flag, can you please bring it along? A re-occurring thing for each Hetalia Day meetup is that each group that meets up takes a photo of the whole group with the flag of their country, since so many people take part in this day worldwide. So, we need a flag to be able to take that picture!

Cosplay wouldn't be compulsory - only a love for Hetalia is, haha.
Thought i'd get this notice out early, so anyone willing to come will have time to organize things.

Thanks guys! If you have any more ideas on stuff we can do, feel free to post it below.

I'm thinking we'd meet about 1ish, just inside the entrance of the Gardens?

Depends if I can get a ride there. I'm in Tauranga and I'm already having trouble getting my parents to organize Gedgon stuff with me. I'd love too though. :C

Axis Powers: Hetalia Day (APH Day) is a day when APH fans all over the world meet in a single day. They don’t meet at a single location, but at APH Day celebrations in their countries. It's pretty much just a time for fans to come together and make friends, haha. Cosplay isn't compulsory.

Maybe we could have groups, some in Hamiltion and some in Auckland and so on. And then share the pics later, or have a some form of web cam thing going somehow ^^

Who's actually coming to this?

Just to confirm : it's the 22nd of this month, which is two weeks tomorrow, i think. Are we wanting to meet in town (eg: Centre Place) or at the Hamilton Gardens? We'd meet at 1pm, most probably.

ANYONE ATTENDING:

MEETING PLACE HAS CHANGED.
From where i am, it looks like it's gonna bucket down any second now, so meeting place has changed to the library in town, outside centre place - where the ice rink used to be.
