....you do realise that, having posted your email address on a public forum, a spammer's spider will have picked up and added your new address to their mailing list within 24h, right?

Better the delete the thread, really. Hopefully the damage hasn't already been done.

Protip: Spammers harvest any email address posted anywhere in plain text. If it hasn't happened yet, it will within a matter of hours.

Or.... you could just delete all your old spam, and manage your email box?

That said, even I have an address for msn, and one for actual email that I read.
I do check my msn box every few days though, and the filters are pretty much set to max - kill anything that looks even remotely like spam.

Yes, it does. Luckily, spam filtering has come a very long way. Which is probably why kiki thinks she has never gotten spam before~

@Kiki - I took 18,000+ messages to mean you were getting spammed. If those emails are legit, where on earth are they coming from?

they were all from CNZ lawl. i haven't cleared out my inbox since i was here

I have one that gets all my CNZ and facebook sugar honey iced tea, and one that i get proper emails with, mainly because that my hotmail didnt work at school, so now i always use my uni email -_-;;;

Still, that is a heck of a lot of messages. Do you have that profile option turned on that follows every thread you post in (and hence emails you almost every single time someone posts)? Becuase if so, the same thing is just going to happen again....

My other question is why you didn't just delete the old messages x_x?

Though it would be smart to change the options, to avoid getting any from CNZ.
