PICTURE STORY: At the CHCH Halloween party, I attempted to slide across the hall on my knees while firing a Nerf gun. In cosplay. More specifically, in a cosplay that involves high-heels. I sprained the tendons across the top of my foot. The story doesn't end there, however...

My foot swelled up enough that I couldn't fit it into any of my shoes, and remained swollen like that for a week or so. I had to limp around school with one shoe on. Fun, right? Not really. My foot, while not as swollen as it was then, is still swollen today-- that's right, six weeks after the party. Furthermore... It's likely it'll never un-swell, because the injury might have (probably has) set off some weird condition I apparently share with my father that causes one's foot to swell after sustaining injury and never un-swell again.

I already have size 11 feet. This is just ridiculous. SO GUYS, GUESS HOW DIFFICULT IT'S GOING TO BE TO FIND COSPLAY SHOES NOW?

And this, my friends, is the tale of Pyro's 'worst cosplay injury'. Thank you, cosplay party, and thank you, stupid ankle-twisting heels. Greil Sutcliff, please die for wearing such stupid shoes.
