ok how about this

meet a 6pm at the newmarket train station
at 6.30pm go a snag a seat since it gets crowded I think

cosplay optional (i.e. do what you like I dont care but please wear clothes since I dont want to have to deal with the cops)

and if people are keen for it a pinic? bring a packet of chips/biscuits or bottle of drink/whatever?

If you're coming from the city, catch the western line (Henderson or Swanson). It's the first stop. If you catch the southern you'll have to walk there Very Happy

It doesn't look very far on the map, though... I'm totally printing a map out if I have to walk >.<

OH SNAP. Actually, the western line is not always running on a saturday because it SUCKS (I work in Glen Eden and catch the train often). It would probably be best to ring up and ask that morning.

I think these things usually end at about 11, don't they? The trains at least should still be running...

dont know but we legal tegals can drink alcohol there provided we dont sit to near the museum

but I guess we'd want to leave before the last train leaves
and its only 200m ~ish to walk to the the west the station from the south one

Ohh, I thought it was the whole thing. I didn't think they'd let you bring alcohol into an area like that. Oh well, I'm on fizzy drinks for the night anyway. Yay broke.
