Any film buffs around here?

I think it was about time we got down our knees and praised us some Hitchcock. After all, he is one of the finest directors of all time. I was lucky enough to have the chance to look at a few of his films during media studies at school this year (even if I had seen most of them previously).

I find it difficult to choose a favourite Hitchcock film. Psycho and Vertigo are probably my favourites from his more well known works. Big fan of Notorious and Strangers on a Train too. I just can't get over the technical mastery that is apparent in practically all of his films. And it doesn't hurt that he has more than a few masterpieces. The only other directors I can think of that can compare, on a technically innovative level, are Welles and Kubrick.
