Evanescence,Paramore,Disturbed, ftw!

Heyy everyone!,

I love allot of Rock/metal music, like the bands in the title thingy

But all in all, Evanescence is my favourite, and Amy Lee is worshipable (Thats not weird at all...)

I love Amy Lee's voice :) It's really unique and amazing! I prefer her Fallen album to The Open Door though.

I listen to Evanescence for Amy's voice. It's so amazing and beautiful and so WAAAA I WANT HER VOICE~

and the new album is due late next year, plus a highly possible tour to promote it! xD

Amy has a beautiful voice~ I don't listen to her as much as I used to though I love her music.

Paramore + Disturbed are okay on the whole.
Certain songs shine more than others [:

so a few years back i was bored, going through a smashing pumpkins phase, youtubing them as you do and came across Evanescence doing a cover of the song Zero... I thought "oh thats cool, give that a listen as Amy Lee seems to have a nice voice every time I heard a heavily produced album.. what could go wrong?" .... i still feel bad about the poor child who was outside my window when I promptly tore my computer out of the wall and hurled it at him.

Ok thats just rude sorry. But Its so disheartining to listen to some of these songs like 'My Immortal' which I adored at one point and then realise that if I had a million dollar and looked like the new psuedo goth pinup I'd be worshipped for about half a year by kinda edgy but their parents dont let them wear black teenagers.

Yea I'm in a bad mood, rant threads here I come!

Dude, what are you thinking dissing Evanescence for. What you obviously dont realise is that theyre the greatest band in the Universe. I suggest you keep your thoughts to yourself and dont pick on defenceless bands just coz you have a distaste for their particular style of music.

And as for throwing your computer at some poor defenceless kid, what's wrong with you. Is he hurt? Maybe you should get in a better mood before you listen to any music and troll the forums.

Evansescence = Meh.

Paramore = Pure win as i am in love with Hayley Williams.

Disturbed = Utter... Well... VERY BAD.

Every disturbed song sounds the same.

no, but honestly they do sound pretty generic. being in love with the lead singer is a poor substitute for songs that actually sounds different to countless other pop rock band's songs.

Hmm, i don't know. Paramore's style isn't like eeeevery other generic rock band. I quite like her lyrics and how they sync with the bands music.
But yeah, everyone has their opinions.

I wouldn't actually choose to listen to any of these if i was given a choice of any band.
Right now i'd listen to Erasure or The Cranberries.

i can't say i've ever listened too hard to her lyrics but i'm sure they're absolutely magical. the fact that they synch with the music is hardly original, though. isn't that kind of the idea? if she starts singing about butterflies and ponies while the rest of the band plays a grindcore riff, let me know.
