Woohoo! Second place in Event 1. Great effort guys, we're really getting together and making some terrific stuff. [TEAM] CSI Plotting Thread - Page 7 755823

Reiko, good to have you back on board... have you heard about the Event where Mods are checking people's sigs? We get bonus points if we get 100% compliance. So please take a look at the Event thread, and check the rules.

Otherwise, we just need to sort out a few technicalities, and we are so gonna win this hands down!

We are 2nd over all guys!
Keep up the good work!

---------------
(big image is big)
Spoiler:

This is the largest I have, since the over all image had to keep to the limits of the single pictures.
The size is a bit odd for a poster but if you want I could play around with it.
This is a max quality JPEG but I could give it to you in Photoshop ESP or anything else if you want.

Everyones individual image is on the other site though I could post them all here if someone wants.

I posted the background image of Wally under the tree a few pages back

I still think this is Visual Awesomeness MM, is it possible to get a version where we can see more of Mandie under the tree (i.e. move Carmen to the side)... I think it look's spookier seeing her there in the shadows holding her cane.

Oh wait! I do have that one- the old version.

Yeah there is the full background image (though I have a bigger version if you want) on page 9.

Having HH to one side mucks up the balance sweatdrop
I could move HH's picture up above Mandies if you want.
Visually it is more effect having her down the bottom, but your right that we lose some of the background image's effectiveness.

Well it should be simple enough to print off glossy posters up to A4, I have done it before. (My printer uses proper printing ink, not the cheap printer ink, they last longer. It has to be matte or gloss as that amount of ink will warp and bleed on normal card/paper.)

Also I can print onto Iron-on-transfers, eg. for T-shirts. They would have to be white t-shirts though. (Color bleed from the T-shirt!)

Larger posters could be done at any print shop.

Also Olli's mum can do deals on screen printing, that may be easier and cheaper if we do it in bulk. Not sure how the quality compares? Iron on transfers are photo quality. Of course you can't iron them, and they don't last as long as screen printing.

Prices I am not to sure about. I think $3.5 for the transfer, plus t-shirt, and then a reasonable allowance for ink. Seriously it uses lots of ink. The posters in A4 would be much cheaper, I would have to find out the cost of replacement glossy paper. May be cheaper at a print shop? Could price it tomorrow?

How many people would be interested?

Well the advantage of Iron on over screen printing is that it can be a one off. So a dead wally is possible.

Mind you seeing your dead face on a T-shirt you are wearing may freak everyone out!

On the t-shirt idea... especially if we do it as a team kind of thing... we should see if we can get our usernames screenprinted on the back 8D

... or would that be too expensive?

It's where I thought of it from, truthfully xD;

I'm not sure how much extra it costs... I wouldn't think it'd be much, but I'm terrible with estimating costs for things like that.

also I has a dream last night (yes it is relevant)
you know the AMAZING picture for the 1st event? Well I dreamed it was one of those advent chocolate things. Where every day you open up the right number and you eat the chocolate behind it. Though our CSI one also had extra hidden facts inside to help you solve the murder mystery!

I just see one small problem if it is cheaper to get a shop to print these.

We would have to make it plain that CSI refers to Cosplay South Island, not CSI, maybe? You know, avoid copyright issues?
