Post examples here or PM.
Include a price you would charge for each of your examples so I get an idea.
This will be for the cosplay.co.nz domain and one for acb.cosplay.co.nz.
I will decide on a basic theme and maybe throw out a few ideas, but the rest will be up to you.

Why a aren't I making it myself? I hate my own designs and I'm lazy. I mean, this has been meant to be done for over a year.

I need more work for my portfolio so would consider it (so long as it doesnt inolve jumping through flaming hoops while typing with my toes(it gives my cramps in my feet Razz

the only example online at the moment is the spetsnaz website (since my site is down)
price i dunno cheap to free depending on what is needed to be done

I have a host which I'm sticking with~
I don't mind competition. Otherwise I would've asked someone personally.
Just give me examples, tell me what you're skilled in etcetc.
Then whoever suits what I have in mind {Note: I'm saying my personal taste here, which is why I don't think competition should be taken personally.} more can have it.

Jess, your personal site is kinda like what I have in mind for cosplay.co.nz. Slightly, not really. I want it basically to be a pretty directory to the sub domains, cnz and also have a little space for text and updates.

Anyway~ I'll leave this for a few days before I pick someone~ <3

Yup. Well. The 'blog-esque' area could be just a little text box on the side while the links are banners running down the left of it or some such. I'm not sure if this makes sense to anyone but me.

Also, we'll only be stealing CNZ colours if the other mods agree to eet~ <3 It's not really needed, but I think it'd be nice if the sites matched? I UNNO.

Makes sense to me - and I agree that cohesive colour scheme is best, though obviously we need to check all the other mods are okay with it too. :3

In that sense wouldn't it be a good idea to base the websites elements off the forums' theme
and what are you thinking of using as the blog base for the website wordpress, blogger, something else?

Sorry, what? In what sense would it be a bad idea? *is confused* And not a clue yet; just throwing around ideas at this stage. If you read Duckeh's post, you'd see that she doesn't think a blog format suits anyway.

for the text space that she can update using a blog engine is probably the cleanest and safest way to go just because your using that part doesnt mean it has to be in a blog format

while mannually editting the text is possible there is greater chance for things to go wrong (like tags being deleted or comprised security)

I can do a template for her which has only certain regions editable so that won't happen, but that's just me. :3 Idk, I believe in KISS.

orz Thank you for telling me about this. It makes me happy. I'll probably end up using it for my personal site. <3

However for cosplay.co.nz and ACB combined I've probably made several different layouts and each time my own design pisses me off. It's not so much the coding or making of it. D: So for something like this, I think it'd be better for my sanity if someone else took over.

Joomla and Wordpress you can get security installed inside of it, but the downside is , that it takes longer to set them up.

I am actually more so in this thread to send suggestions than be competition as the other people invovled know more of what you want.. and how to deliver it.

But yea blog and cms engines are only to be feared because you dont understand them, they can integrate your forums even if just a link.

I'll have an example of oshare curry in a few days im' still doing the back work on it.
