Cosplay Picnic (first official meeting)

Saturday 31st May
Meeting at 12.00pm outside the Canterbury Museum
Ending 5.00pm at the Museum.

This is the first official meeting for the Christchurch cosplayers, as so please do not feel pressured to take part in the games or groups we are all here to meet fellow cosplayers and most importantly of all have fun.
Warning, no drugs or alcohol will be tolerated at the picnic. If you are found to be under the influence you will be asked to leave. Times are flexible if we are running late during the day some games maybe cancelled or changed. If at any time you have any troubles of queries please don’t hesitate to tell Angela or Fiona, we are happy to help.

TIMETABLE

12.00 - 12.15pm
Meeting as a group outside the front entrance of Canterbury Museum on Rolleston Ave in town.

12.15 - 1.15 - Lunch
Follow Angela in to the Botanical gardens for lunch, Get a chance to meet all your fellow christchurch cosplayers while you go ‘nom, nom, nom.’ If you have brought food to share please tell Angela or Fiona and they will put it out on the blankets.

1.15 - 1.30 - Group Game
A group game of Mummy, where the aim of the game is to wrap your fellow team mate till he could be King Tut’s better looking cousin.

1.30-2.30 - Cosplay Dances
You have all seen them on youtube now you can learn them helpful cosplayers are going to demonstrate your favourite dances, such as Hare Hare Yuki, and Lucky Star. A dance off will be held and you decide who shall wear the crown of cosplayer dancing diva.

2.30 - 3.00 - Pass the Parcel Cosplay Style
Set to anime/ japrock music this is no ordinary game of pass the parcel.

3.00 - 3.30 - Improvisation Cosplay Skits
Various games as seen on ‘Whose Line is it anyway.’ Preformed in a cosplay style.

3. 30 - 4.00 - Free Time
Here is you chance to wander around the park to get to know your fellow cosplayer and take some photos.

4.00 - 5.00pm - Garden / Museum Walk for Photographs
Gather back together at the picnic spot and we will go for a walk through Canterbury Botanical Gardens for some group photos. If it starts to get dark/cold early we will head into the Canterbury Museum for some outrageous pics.

The Museum shuts as 5.30pm so if you want to stick around till then or wander into town for tea.

lmao, okay I should have known that was coming....

We can get some on the walk? Or in free time.
Itachi wants a game of hide'n'seek as well ^^

lol tobi lauged at free time, let me explain, some of you guys might be just happy talking or doing your own thing.
But also its pretty hard to predict how long the games will last, they'll either run shorter then predicted or much longer. So its just a guess really ^^
we've got plenty of games on standby mwhahahah,

oh btw, we've got a sketch book for the club. So if anyones wants to draw mascot ideas or random things in there they're welcome to. (just keep it clean xD)
as well as a death note to be signed in.

Oh no I is trapped what will I do, how will I escape.

and before I forget, sunblock and blankets you will need one and he other will be helpful to sit on, Pura can expand while I fall into bed. so I can work tommorow. Oh and water so you don't get dehydrated.
