Death Note Collection

I'll try here... 2 things I wanna ask...
Yeah so I'm a big death note fan, and I'm gonna do a big project heheh - wanna make a big collection of Death Note cosplay photos.
We've got a professional photographer so some photos will be black and white, others colour and so on...

So once I've accurately finished the Light and L cosplays (tops/wig etc), we're gonna take some symbolic and such photos, recreating scenes, art and illustrations etc. Even going to the roof of a police building to do the L vrs Light... cause that was the first photo-scene I ever thought of doing.

So 1) I'm asking for more further ideas of poses or scenes that would be cool for photos?

At a later stage I'll do the same for most of the Dnote characters; Misa, Near, Mello, Matt, Mikami, Kiyomi and Matsuda. Eventually we will get Ryuk, Rem and hopefully Shidoh and Jealeous (masks and all.)
All cosplays will be made as accurately as possible (otherwise possibly even bought since its mostly the photo-scenes I care for,) because of this, it'll be sometime in the next year or two.
I will call for a big death note group going with as many characters as possible XD for fun and a big photo session. ... Yeah I know, big project indeed, it may not happen soon but it'll happen eventually.

Anyway 2) any ideas for photo poses for each of these characters, ideas for poses/scenarios on their own, paired with another character/s ... or/and all together etc... can also be included ^^

Since I'm making it a big deal, it is a collection etc, I'lll also put the names of people whose ideas we select (if they want of course.)
I know its early but I'm asking around to collect as many ideas as possible.
Can never have too many ideas.

Ooh. Sounds fun... I'm sorry, I won't be too much of a help, since I've only seen the Death Note movies and nothing else...

I would love to cosplay as Misa though >_>

I didn't really think of the movies, more along the anime/manga.
But what I've decided is to do a bit from everything. So I'll probably get Anime style, Manga style and Movie style cosplays. Like I said big project.

Also, you could be movie Misa if you want Tammy ^^
Dont forget Im South Island based, but I could still send out ideas to you guys and you take the shots for me. Also we can all meet for lol Death Note day. Actually just a day after geddon or something we could do this also.
I'm not doing a whose gonna be who list yet till I figure a good way to plan it out XD

Okay here's some kinda ideas off the top of my head.

Recreated scenes:
~ L and Light on the roof top
~ L piloting a helicopter,
~ The scene when Light (episode 24) (click to read if you wanna spoil)

Spoiler:

~ A still of Near, with his dice rolling off the table (I think this pic would be awesome black and white)

Classic Poses:
~ Light standing, Misa (damn its in my head - how to explain it) sort of a crouch, L doing his sit pose.
~ Kira's side, with them doing a group pose.
~ L's side, same as above.
~ Near lying on the floor with his finger puppets

Joke shots:
~ Mello surrounded by chocolate heh, oh man I should go down south with the Mello to the Cadbury Factory!
~ Near in toy world. Heh.heh.heh.

See what I mean, I'm gonna go all out, with serious pictures, symbolic pictures, nutty-insane-joke pictures...
So that's why I'm calling for as many ideas as possible. Shoot them at me XD

Depending on how this goes, I might get some film footage too. It was an idea ages ago.

Yeah, see this is why I haven't set a date yet, I'm not sure how ~~big~~ this will turn out to be X3
It can go either way really, and I dont mind ^^
Some photos are easily done with a couple of people, but the bigger photos I'll need a group (that's also when we 'could' film) ... if I do that, I'll set a date next year. I just need to know how many would be keen.

Well the photos I have in my brain should be worthy of prints - well that is the aim. Its gonna be professional like after all.

Near, Matt, Mikami and Matsuda, will have their chibi-printed on tops... so if anyones got some funny slogan I put with them let me know.
So basically, there'll be a Near chibi on the back of Near's top (not for the serious photos, only for joke) that'll say something. (Like L and Lights "handcuffed to stupid" and Misa's "I chuu~!

So suggestions for such slogans - shoot em at me, as well as more poses/scenes/situations for photos.

Ooh! Random question!
Probably not best to ask here but it's Death Note related...
What's a good waterproof material I can use to make a book cover out of?
I got a Jap phrasebook to take with me for my trip but I don't want to look so touristy. I want to turn it into a mini Death Note by giving it a cover. And waterproof so it won't be so easily damaged when I accidently drop it in the snow... ^^;

Well, theres these plastic covers stationary shops use to sell (I think) and they just slipped onto the cover of your books. And you could insert photos or stuff with it. But, I don't know if they have that anymore.

But I've gotten them overseas for my old chinese school books before. D=
I think they'd be too big for a tiny phrase book.
And by mini Death Note... I meant a miniature version of a death note - the ones for writing names in. xD
